The 7-stage charging profile is legitimate—it handles desulfurization and compensation charging quite smoothly. Leave it connected for over 4 days so far (trickle mode) without any sulfation buildup. The mode memory after outage is genius—power flickers during outage, picks right back up. Pulse repair extended life on a 5-year-old deep-cycle that was weakening. Clear LCD shows real-time stats so I know it's working. Protections prevented any over-temp, reverse, etc.. Extra-long SAE cord with clips/rings makes setup easy. I tested the voltage accuracy with a multimeter, and it’s spot on. It holds the float at exactly 12.5V in trickle mode, which is perfect for preventing gassing in lead-acid batteries. Just a heads-up: it will NOT charge Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, so don't try it. For standard flooded or AGM batteries, it’s a no-brainer for the price. There is also a [3-Pack] product available but I only needed one. Best budget smart charger I've used—way better than basic trickle units.

WOW! Premium Function at a bargain price. I have a garage full of toys that have batteries, motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, etc... For years I have used only Battery Tender® products and they work well, however a few had died after years of service. I purchased Two of the Nexpeak® changers at half the price of BT and I have to say I'm impressed. - Charges 6V AND 12V - Has maintenance modes - Better display with more information - Same connector as BT - Smaller yet has a better charge rate - Includes both permanent and Clip type mounts for your battery with it Very happy with my purchase.

This is a great motorcycle battery charger, it has 3 different charging stags, Trickle Charge, Maintainer and Battery Recovery. The Battery Recovery is awesome. It takes about 2 days to completely bring you battery back to life. This charger is pretty small so you can pack it away on your ride just in case. I've had this charger for about a year and it still works like it did when brand new.. Very good quality and a great price, seller shipped free and fast. W

The tender works good on a working battery. Background, my battery was at it's end life when I bought this unit. My previous tender stopped working two or three weeks prior to purchasing which caused my battery to unexpectedly not hold a charge or hold up for a jump. Initially after buying it seemed the unit was not registering my battery as advertised. After reaching out to the seller and explained the situation, I was getting ready to return the unit since it seemed faulty out of the box. After jump starting the car failed with a known good jump box, I had the battery tested and it was determined the battery was past it's expiration. Since replacing the battery, the unit register's the battery as expected and has been trickle charging without an issue since. It connects and plugs in quickly. Switching between modes is as easy as the press of the button and hadn't had an issue since the battery was replaced. I have been using this for several months and it seems to be holding up well to the elements. I still have yet to try it in cold weather but seems to be holding up well so gar with the weather.

can detach charging cable from unit, very convenient and functional for frequent recharging of batts not used much...small unit size beneficial for frequent uses. Instructions are basic...used Standard and (Trickle is stronger charge at first), haven't needed or used Repair mode as of yet. Great price, Great unit.

Works with Porsche 997 with sae auxiliary power outlet pigtail adapter (purchased separately) With the 12v cigarette lighter / auxiliary power adapter connected to the SAE connector, I am able to plug right into the passenger side, auxiliary power outlet. Which Porsche designed as a charging port or power port when the car is turned off. It is a permanently switched to port meaning that even when the car is off, that port has a direct connection to the battery. I like this product because it gives me both an amperage and a voltage read out clearly visible with the LCD display. Although some might disagree, I like that it stays lit when disconnected from wall power. Which means that it gets its information fed directly from the battery. This inexpensive unit gives me more information than much more expensive alternatives that have no visible read out. I’m very happy with my little set up! I purchased a two pack of SAE auxiliary/12 V cigarette outlet pigtail adapters for less than $10 here on Amazon. They fit snug and everything works as it should!

This is a smart charger which automatically detects the voltage and present charge and shuts off when fully charged. I have used it so far on a 6V old car, a 12V motorcycle battery, a 12V lawnmower, and a 12 V car. Working great so far. I bought two of them and have both are in use.
