  • Sturdy, durable, long lasting, easy set up
Size: 236.4"L x 117.6"W x 76.8"H
We got this chicken coop extension to add on to our original coop. We had 12 chickens and had the correct amount of space per chicken that was recommended, but it still didn't seem like enough space. We can't free range due to many predators in our woods, so we got this run and it has been awesome! It added so much more space to their home and they can run around as much as they please! It was easy to set up, but was very tedious doing all the zip ties. We ended up buying more zip ties just to make sure everything was secure. We've had it for a year or so now and it still stands strong and the chickens are in the extension every day! There is a door at the far end which is nice. We have high winds sometimes and it doesn't budge. Definitely worth it to buy and make your back yard flock very happy! ... show more

  • what in the world of missing parts
Size: 231.6"L x 114.0"W x 76.0"H
Update: After speaking with the company and receiving a replacement, this is a good product. I had no complaints with the new one; the door and everything are sturdy. I guess we built it faster this time because we understood the instructions. Now I'm happy with this product. I'm still not happy with the zip ties, but they make good holders. Why not use something better to hold the wire down if the frame is sturdy? The whole product is sturdy. The company is made of good people, and they reached out to make things right, which shows they care about their product. Poor instructions and missing parts, including the F1 door and a clamp. Connectors were bent and required force. The product feels cheaply made, especially considering the price and shipping. Not worth it. Update: After spending more money, I managed to put it together, but it doesn't feel strong. The door leans out and is held together by zip ties, which won't protect your chickens. If you get one of these runs with zip ties, get metal zip ties or metal twine for a more secure lock. The included zip ties break easily, and even a dog leaning on the chicken wire can break them. Also, it only comes with chicken wire, which isn't the best defense against predators or dogs. Just another warning not to get it. ... show more

  • It's pretty okay for the price
Size: 9.8’L x 6.6’W x 6.4’H
Got this unit to house our growing population of quail. We were able to get it squeezed into our side yard near the garden, protected from wind & sun as best as possible so the tarp roof hopefully lasts 2 years if we're lucky. Have plans for a better roof in the works. Yes, quail don't need the headroom of this unit but I wanted a walk-in... The frame part of it goes together way fast & easy. The poles are all packaged in groups, with minimal labeling, so we quickly used a sharpie to label each one. Took maybe 10 or 15 minutes to get the frame put up. The rest of it... is quite a pita... The nylon wrapped wire they supply is plentiful. We have plenty left over, however even if you're sporting blue collar, leather-thick skin on your hands you're probably gonna bleed. Heavy leather gloves or regerts about your life decisions are the options here... The zip ties it comes with are plentiful & very suitable for the initial fit-up, but we saved all the wire that they used to tie up the spool for packaging, (as well as some bailing wire) and have been going back over those wire-tied areas to reinforce & make the installation more permanent. Zip ties included are pretty low quality... We also added a layer of finer mesh along the bottom of the perimeter (because small birds) and buried it down a good 5-6" to prevent digging invaders. The door requires a little bit of finagling & detail work to get it squared up nicely, but it's good if you spend the time. The tarp fitment is okayish. If you drape it over & strap it to the frame (per basic logic) it fits a bit loose... requires a bit more "stretch" in where it attaches to the roof in order to make it more taught... Solid 4 star unit though. Would buy again probably, considering all the reviewers already let me know that it was a bit of an imperfect pita-type of assembly. It took myself and my buddy 2 days to get it into suitable condition for birds to move in, but also we were drinking pretty heavily & doing other little projects during that time as well, so... ... show more

  • Perfect for rabits or a starter coop
Size: 149.5"L x 110.3"W x 76.8"H
The Upside: First off, the value for this is fantastic. I lost the instructions and we had to put it together just by the photo. It was SUPER easy. Took us probably a couple hours just due to us not having the instructions for the frame. Probably would have taken 30 mins with instructions. Longest part was putting the wiring around it which took about 4ish hours. The Downside: It was missing a piece, however the seller was very fast at responding and sent us what we needed. Although instead of sending just the one piece, they sent an entire new box for a new frame minus the connecting joints (which if the seller would want to send me those too, I have all these spare pieces and nothing to connect them to now). Either way the seller was super friendly and I would absolutely buy their products again. ... show more

  • Ok, but not the best… looks bigger than it actually is.
Size: 110.3"L x 74.8"W x 76.8"H
1. Installation is easy enough for one person to complete. 2. A few poles did not have the connection holes on the correct side. I am going to have to drill holes and connect nuts and bolts in those areas. 3. The fencing wire is really thin. The drawings suggested there was enough fencing to go across the top. That was not the case. I wanted to prop small limbs for the chickens to perch on, but I had to rethink that part since the fencing wire is so thin. 4. The space is adequate for three or four chickens. 5. The door is really flimsy. I couldn’t figure out how to connect the latch. Update: It rained and water has collected on the top and the tarp is caving in at the top of the coop. I’ll have to think of a solution for this issue. Maybe add a piece of wood across the very middle of the top to give it a more slanted roof. I still haven’t figured out how to attach the latch that was provided. I’ll update once I get it installed completely. ... show more
