Our Lab has sensitive skin. We have always used Xymox products on her. Shampoo, Leave-In Conditioner, and Ear Drops. I have to write a review for this as it really works! I would give it 10 stars if I could. I’ve bought multiple products that have done nothing, and I’m so thankful that I found this. My cat has a place on his belly that he licked a sore spot on. I spray this in my hand to warm it up a bit, then rub it on the spot. He walks around while it dries, and it must help the itching as he’s not licking anymore. I think this is day 5 and it’s mostly healed up, and no more licking it. Thank you so much as our last vet trip for this was about 1400$, and he got pancreatitis from the allergy shot they gave him.

Our Labrador Retriever has a lot of allergies, and his ears, neck and elbows itch frequently. Our veterinarian had recommended another topical spray that requires a prescription, but it is no longer available. We were looking for something to give our dog some relief from the itching, and the veterinarian recommended that we look for a good cortisone spray. PROS: 1. This spray has a higher amount of cortisone than most of the other sprays we looked at. It has worked the best to relieve itching of any cortisone spray other than the prescription spray we can no longer get. CONS: 1. The bottle is only 2 oz, and with a large dog it may not last very long.

Got this to help with an itchy rash on an indoor cat. She was suffering terribly. She was scared of the sprayer at first, but within a day or two she recognized it was giving relief and actually ponied up for a squirt and a nice rub through her fur. Worked very well. Also tried spraying it on her brush and brushing it through her fur. She liked that as well. Did leave her with sort of temporary unsightly yucky fur, but WELL worth the relief it provided and her fur was back to normal within a day or two.

The stuff is a lifesaver for a dog. Bruce has really severe allergies and if he eats outside of his diet he gets itchy skin and hotspots immediately. They get so bad and he gets so red all over his body that he starts to lick and bite. I included pictures in my review so you can see what he looks like. Once we see this happening we spray Xymox once a day or maybe every other day. As long as we spray the area and put a donut around his head to make sure he doesn’t bite it he normally heals within two weeks. This stuff has really saved us and you can tell that it really helps Bruce relax and probably feels good. He for sure starts running when he sees us come with the spray but it has helped him quite a bit.

This really helped my cat to stop overgrooming. After I apply, it lasts all day and she doesn't try to remove it so, it's clearly giving her relief from the itching. I'm really glad to have found this because it actually works unlike countless other brands I've tried. While the container is small, it does not take much to work and so it lasts quite a while.
