Incredible, easy to use and very powerful (and easily portable) deep sky imaging. You can’t go wrong. Excellent, precision, build quality. One of the best values for the dollar spent that I’ve encountered in the nearly 45 years I’ve been using a wide variety of imaging setups. Just buy it. The below images were obtained in under ten minutes of total time during my first night of use from a very light-polluted location (city parking lot location under some high cirrus that were intermittently blowing in off the lake to my north). I did a quick initial test in Alt-Az configuration just to see what this small but mighty quadruplet/apochromatic (ED glass) could do with some of Sony’s powerful 2 micron pixel technology. I’m eager to start imaging for longer exposure times in the EQ mount available from Seestar but the August weather has been very cloudy here in NE Ohio. Kudos to the engineers at ZWO on a fabulous and welcome addition for amateur astroimagers of all skill levels to enjoy! ... show more

Great scope! Easy to set up and use. Once you connect your phone or tablet to the scope everything is at your fingertips. The scope aligns itself and is secure on the small mount provided. East to take photos and download them. I’ve seen some larger smart scopes that cost way more but for someone starting out or just a hobby enthusiast this is a good value. ... show more

Fantastic! Within a half hour of opening the box we were able to put it outside and it instantly found the sun and gave us this picture! Incredible. Can't wait for some clear nights to try out the night sky! Tracking works great to keep image in view. Wish this existed years ago!

Good product. Poor instructions. Works well. Need to have more information on how to do things, it describes what it does but not how to do it. I had to buy a book that is written for how to do things with the scope.

There seems to be a software glitch in registering the app account. You keep getting a message that the email is not gegistered. I tried all of their recommended fixes. Didn't work. I checked to make sure my iPhone 16 was adaquate to run the program. Meets the requirements. I have a $700 canoe anchor. The telescope doesn't work. And it sounds like the problem is widespread.
