    • Stellar deep sky imaging technology at a great value
Set name: S30pro

Incredible, easy to use and very powerful (and easily portable) deep sky imaging. You can’t go wrong. Excellent, precision, build quality. One of the best values for the dollar spent that I’ve encountered in the nearly 45 years I’ve been using a wide variety of imaging setups. Just buy it. The below images were obtained in under ten minutes of total time during my first night of use from a very light-polluted location (city parking lot location under some high cirrus that were intermittently blowing in off the lake to my north). I did a quick initial test in Alt-Az configuration just to see what this small but mighty quadruplet/apochromatic (ED glass) could do with some of Sony’s powerful 2 micron pixel technology. I’m eager to start imaging for longer exposure times in the EQ mount available from Seestar but the August weather has been very cloudy here in NE Ohio. Kudos to the engineers at ZWO on a fabulous and welcome addition for amateur astroimagers of all skill levels to enjoy! ... show more

    • Awesome smart telescope!
Set name: S30pro
Easy to use, captures great images of deep space objects and the Sun! It will blow your mind as an image of a nebula starts appearing in the app. Solar images show sunspots. With free editing software you can pull even more out of the images. The app is great!

    • Great, easy to use smart scope
Set name: S30pro

Great scope! Easy to set up and use. Once you connect your phone or tablet to the scope everything is at your fingertips. The scope aligns itself and is secure on the small mount provided. East to take photos and download them. I’ve seen some larger smart scopes that cost way more but for someone starting out or just a hobby enthusiast this is a good value. ... show more

    • Fantastic and Easy to Use!
Set name: S30pro
Review Image by P. Winegar
Fantastic! Within a half hour of opening the box we were able to put it outside and it instantly found the sun and gave us this picture! Incredible. Can't wait for some clear nights to try out the night sky! Tracking works great to keep image in view. Wish this existed years ago!

    • Good product. Poor documentation.
Set name: S30pro
Good product. Poor instructions. Works well. Need to have more information on how to do things, it describes what it does but not how to do it. I had to buy a book that is written for how to do things with the scope.

    • The S30 Is Amazing!
This thing is crazy smart and very good optics. I'm not a Astro photographer and hardly knowledgeable about astronomy. If it wasn't for the S30 to self find planets and other astro objects I'd still be looking for the moon. Well maybe not that bad. Super easy to set up and once you learn the start sequence it becomes quick to connect to the app. Everything is run from the app. It is well layed out and quick response. There are so many features on the S30 it will keep me learning for a very long time. I bought the S30 over the S50 because I wasn't sure if I was into capturing images of sky objects or not and the S30 was cheaper. Growing up I would always stare at the stars and wondered what they really looked like. Wonder no more. There is a pro model coming out which I would wait for but for the price of the S30 I can't recommend this high enough. There are a ton of online websites to learn from. ... show more

    • Doesn't work
Set name: S30pro
There seems to be a software glitch in registering the app account. You keep getting a message that the email is not gegistered. I tried all of their recommended fixes. Didn't work. I checked to make sure my iPhone 16 was adaquate to run the program. Meets the requirements. I have a $700 canoe anchor. The telescope doesn't work. And it sounds like the problem is widespread. Proceed cautiously. ... show more
