Worth the money.

The tube is outstanding. Super clear picture. The mount this comes with is garbage so dont plan on using it, the demist shield doesn't stay in under its on friction, so you'll have to modify that. This is a better tube than I was using in the military in 2013.

Better by a helmet mount.

First and foremost, Gets you in the Night Vision game. DOES NOT Come with what you need to attach to your helmet mount. The provided J-Arm is USMil style. So when you get your helmet mount, you may need a different J-Arm also. For the money, pretty good vision wise(I'm coming from the 90s PVS-7 so everything now is better. Mine came with 0 blemishes at all and the spec sheet for the tube that mine came with would equate this as a higher end gen2+/low end gen 3. For the price I'm definitely happy with it, if you can't afford a high end gen 3 go for it, you won't regret it. If you're not happy with it, you can always just return it. Just be advised if you plan on mounting this to a helmet, you will need a bayonet compatable helmet mount, as this comes with a bayonet j-arm. ... show more
