Its been a month owning this and it still works great, keeps a big pack of bottled water chilled, its so quiet you can sleep easy with it in the room, and weighed pretty light when moving it up and down stairs. The door seal wasn't having any issues though you do get some mild condensation build up on the inside so just use a cloth to clean it off once in a while. The black plastic is pretty basic but i am thankful its not glossy so no scratches show up.

Purchased a DT55 cooler in July 2025. Since I got it, I’ve used it quite a lot, it functions very well and keeps frozen foods frozen and cools other foods without issue. Here’s the problem. The basket that came with the unit doesn’t fit properly in the larger compartment. For the last year I’ve been struggling with getting it out of the unit. When put into the compartment, it snaps in place on a rim about an inch from the top. To get it out I had to force it to get back over the rim. Finally I contacted SetPower customer service to determine if I was sent the wrong basket. It was useless. They told me they can’t fix the problem, and showed no interest in determining if this is a common problem. I said to them that I can’t believe I’m the only person who’s having this issue. I pointed out that on Amazon, the photo showing the unit has a basket that is different from the one I have, as there appears to be a shelf in the basket. They didn’t address that but said they could not sent me a replacement basket. Also they pointed out that the warranty expired on July 11, 2026. I told them that I purchased the extended warranty from Amazon, but was told that the warranty is third party and doesn’t apply to them. One other issue I’ve had with this product is the control panel. I have this in the bed of my truck, and in daylight you can barely see the lights, forget it if the sunlight hits it. No way to adjust brightness. I didn’t mention this in my complaint but wanted purchasers to know. As a result, I personally would not buy another Setpower product.

This is my second SetPower fridge. I owned the PT35 previously and loved it. I'll talk about the good things first. I love the several minor upgrades over the PT35. I love the mounting brackets for the DT55. I bought straps and mount it to the floor of my campervan. It kept it in place and was easy to install and remove. I love the new plastic finish as it's tougher and doesn't transfer heat like the PT35 did. I love the included basket. It cools everything down well. I love getting ice cold drinks from it after a long hike. Large and can last me a week. Now to the things I dislike but isn't a deal breaker. The basket is nice but it's hard to remove. Because there's a lip built around the top which I have to fight with when I try to remove the basket. Literally no reason for this lip. It's not like the basket is going to accidentally fall out. The app is pretty worthless. Just another app on the phone taking up space that you would hardly ever use. Now to the thing I hate and why I wish I didn't buy it. The drain plug. The drain plug isn't a twist on style. It is a push in style. Basically, two small rubber rings are holding back any fluid. There's usually condensation build put at the bottom. Cleaning up sucks because I wanted the fridge mounted permanently. Whenever I pull the plug, little bit of fluid drains out onto the floor so then I have to move the fridge to clean that up too. So now I constantly have to move the fridge and check to make sure there's no leakage and no mold. There was a liquid stain on the floor where the fridge was. Additionally, the hole for the plug was cut rough and I don't have any confidence that fluid doesn't seep through the cracks. Just look at the photos. Overall, it's a fine fridge. Very similar to the PT series. I would be extremely happy with it if it wasn't for the drain plug.

Final update had this in back of pickup hot day 95 temp heat index 105F direct sunlight on a 3 hour ride freezer got up to 17f cooler side held 33F very impressive Update …. This thing is works very well I will give it that if they would let me exchange it for a smaller one would be 5 stars for sure Very bulky and on the smaller side inside better make sure before buying because it’s a royal pain in the butt to exchange or return items basically I stuck with it now

Worked fine at first on both sides, turned off the small side and now it will not turn on only big side is controlled by on off button. Does not connect to app, and manual description is not for this refer. Product support is only a few selections to pick from and none are relevant. Will have to ether send back, or contact cs through setpower as Amazon support is useless. Update, refer is fine, manual not so much,showed a pick of my control panel but the directions for someone else. Operator error, but really wouid be nice if actual description matched the item. Update , operator error didn’t read the fine print. However the small door hinge isn’t working,it pops out on one side of hinge and pops right back but is getting worse. Other than that great refrigerator. Update refrigerator is great, love it, but the lids aren’t a strong point, the only thing that holds the lids son is a tiny nub of soft plastic that fits in a hole on one side and the other is a small spring loaded pin that fits in another hole on other side. Very little effort is needed to mangle the plastic pin , making lid fall off or not fit tight enough causing frosting. Customer service was great on my first issue but are Mia on this one. After the holidays I’ll try again but it’s looking like I’ll have to make my own hinge arrangement. Still a great fridge but will be uglier than before. Update 8 month Customer support seams to be nonexistent, won’t respond to my messages. Still a great refrigerator minus the poor design of doors.and no customer support.
