The media could not be loaded. I have purchased this system 2 times. Once for my dad's and just got one for my home. I love it! I don't know what everyone else is having problems with but I haven't had any. It records and if you have internet you can remote VEIW from your phone. You can back it up to a certain time to see and I get motion detection notifications sent to my phone so I get a notification I jump over and can look back to the camera also I can go back days ago and see what happened. I absolutely love this Zosi System that's why I have purchased this same system 2 times. You do have to buy a hard drive which wasn't but 19 $ I believe making the total cost less than 100 $ . And you can't beat that. It is a 4 channel I believe which means I can add 2 more cameras which I plan on doing they are only 18$ to 20 something dollars which is still not bad. They do have the wires that come with it ...very easy to install the system plus the hard drive.bought separately but still easy to install. Thank you Zosi I'm very happy with my purchase! It also has night vision the picture is very clear I used to leave my porch light on but now even if it's off I can see a clear picture on my monitor as if the light was on because of the night vision. System worked well. Installation was straight forward. Setup/firmware is the only place I'd take points off the review. It could use some work to make it more intuitive, a couple items that worked but weren't intuitive: - Reviewing footage from previous days. - Setup of wifi (lack of feedback indicating success or failure during connection process) That said, email customer support was very responsive and helped me understand the process for reviewing footage. I hope to see a firmware update that will make this product even better. ... show more

I'll be honest, I didn't have high hopes for this system due to the price for an 8 camera system. Well, I was wrong. The quality of the cameras feel top notch. The picture is clear as can be night or day. Extremely easy to set-up. You do not need a hard drive to view the cameras, but you do if you'd like to record and play back. I got a 1tb HDD for $40 on amazon and it will hold roughly 66 days of recording 24 hours / day. Pretty awesome if you ask me. It comes with two power supplies that hold 4 cameras each, so don't worry about having to power 8 separate cameras like I was.The only issue I had, which is very minor, is the app seems to need work. It's pretty slow, but it does work. You can record and screenshot straight to your phone while viewing all of your cameras. Overall, I highly recommend this system if you're looking for a budget camera system. ... show more

We wish we could give this a Zero rating. Let's begin: The wired cameras are easy to install, but they are so-so quality at best. We already had one where the rubber pieces holding the dome camera in place have fallen out. It's 2 months old. The DVR unit is easy to install - that includes the separately purchased hard drive. Now comes the headaches. The DVR software system is so unnecessarily complicated and completely disorganized. Used to Windows and the way we have navigated for more than 20 years? Forget it all. This is basic, but crazy. Customer service? Now, here's the big joke. The only "service" is by email with a recipient clearly in China who does not read nor understand English. Replies are random and illiterate. So, try the videos on Zositech.com. Same nonsense. For some silly reason these folks think the world needs to listen to music while they are explaining, in completely broken English, a tutorial that is incomplete and includes no troubleshooting. So, try the manual. Same nonsense, but even worse. You have to fill in the blanks of the quick setup via trial and error. No customer service phone number. No videos by people who have somehow navigated though this nonsense and may assist those of us with more than a 4th grade education. If you are lucky enough to somehow fumble your way though the setup, then comes the various downloads for your Android and PC. The Android Zosi Smart after several attempts and no help, was finally figured out by three friends who cannot recall how we managed to get the cameras seen on the phone. The secu365 website does not accept the Device ID, so we are unable to view our camera system through other PCs outside of our home. Customer service? Sure. Can't understand the issues (meaning language). We own many properties and would like to find a security system to operate at each property. This is not it. Too complicated, takes too long to set up the software and remote viewing, cannot view from any PC, and customer service gets an F-. Never again. Find a company more conducive to better customer service and one that hires communicators that speak your language. ... show more

    • Good System for the Cost

So far these seem like they are a very good system for the price. Pro: Inexpensive Easy to set up: I hooked mine to a TV, use the included mouse to set up the home screen. Then it goes right to a screen with 8 blank camera feeds. As I plugged in cameras, they started streaming immediately. I haven't set up the WIFI yet, so hopefully that will be as easy. Cons: People complain about the fan noise on the DVR. I can hear it, but its not very loud. I put the DVR on a shelf, and I don't even notice it. The camera only have a 70 degree field of view, which can be a pain if you are setting them up in a small room. We have one in the baby's room, and I can see the crib, but not much else. I can only put the camera as high and far as my walls allow. The IR seems a little sensitive. On a cloudy day, it switches from regular to IR as the room darkens. Overall, its a good system for the money. I will add photos and updates as I install the rest and set up the WIFI. ... show more
