So it does still smoke a bit but it is definitely less than a regular fire pit once it actually gets going. The smoke level does also depend on the type of wood you use. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and we can’t wait to continue using it! We also plan on getting some sort of wood round to place on top when not in use to double as a table/cover. For a smokeless fire pit, it smokes quite a bit. Have to get a roaring fire for the smoke to diminish. Comes with a tote that seems a bit useless. Would be more beneficial if it had a hard topper to use instead.

The pros, she burns much better compared to most lower end fire pits. Not truly “smokeless”, but none of them really are. That being said, the smoke gets cut down a significant amount to make it worth getting one. The cons, she won’t win any beauty contests after a few uses. 2nd time using it and paint peeling off inside already, by day 5 there is already rust. But what should people expect for a cheap fire pit, it’ll happen to just about any of them that are under a few hundred dollars. What do to bub? Suck it up buttercup and hit it with some high heat spray paint and she’ll be wicked perty after that. All in all, this is probably one of the better fire pits I’ve had for under $150 but don’t pay low prices and expect something perfect. ... show more

Don't let the little size fool you, it still makes a gorgeous and warm fire. We've been using pellets and it's awesome. We've learned to be careful to not fill passed the oval vents about half way up because it's hard to get it re-lit. Also the Fatwood firestarters do a great job without using starter fluid. Only bad thing I can say about the fire pit is that it's starting to rust a little near the bottom holes and a little on top. I'm sure it will still last a long time. ... show more
