    • Worked for a week but then became a nightmare edit with good end
Cameras came in very nicely packeted, each camera being packeted on its own to keep them safe. At first, they were easy to connect, I do recommend you have a spare screen to hook the VSR up to, with a cord that hooked up to the VSR. We took a day to hook up having 4 of them and testing them out but all was going well. Night came around and we got to test out the night vision and they looked well and were easy to see without being super grainy, Only problem we ran into is one of the cameras had an issue with switching between Nightvision and back to normal thru the night. We decided we would order another camera and move the one to someone where else where it be okay without Nightvision. Since we had one blind spot it do good in we ordered another one from amazon same brand and same camera and such. We got the camera and have yet to get it to connect to the system no matter what we do. Now go to yesterday we found one of the cameras outside had gone out, finding out that the plug for it wasn't recovered when we were doing some yard work so thanks to some heavy rain the plug did not work anymore. It was our own fault we understood that luckily we had a spare plug and power unit, just in case that blew as well, so after hooking that all up the camera still won't work no matter what and won't connect to the system as well. so now we're down two cameras and still have one that has a broken Nightvision. We have tried to reboot the system does nothing. reset the system does nothing. We are at a loss of what to do and if we had known it would have been this much of a hassle would have never got the system. edit/update: got ahold of the company and they have been very helpful and even are going to send two cameras to replace one that had broken (due to the rain of our own fault) and the one that has the Nightvision. they also helped to connect the one with connection issues. they have been super helpful and nice about this whole things. also super quick to answer as well ... show more

    • Great cameras for the price
These cameras have amazing video capability even at night I can see my whole yard around the house. They also record alot of hrs it was around 40days worth of video depending on how much movement there is in my yard. This camera dvr package was definitely a great investment as long as you won't need more than 8 cameras. I personally went with 4 as my place is not very big. ... show more

The cameras are awful. The application for your phone is terrible to download and to work with. I never can see my cameras through the site they are always offline. Two of them are not working at all just have two left connected. I waisted my money on these cameras thinking that they were good because of the reviews I read, but no. please don't buy them. ... show more

    • started having issues after a couple months of purchase, laggy video and pink spots
The unit arrived fully working no issues, was easy to setup and everything was fine until I started noticing one of the cameras not working at all then would come back and start working again, then I noticed pink blotching in the video randomly and the camera would freeze and there would be a delay and it would fast forward our motions until the video would catch back up with itself. Not sure what's going on, I have full signal to all 4 cameras, being a tech expert I would say it has something to do with the DVR or HDD. I guess you could say it's "lagging" or laggy video/recording and theres like a 2-4 sec delay.. Idk how to fix this because you cant change the resolution except for your output monitor.....idk whats going on lol hopefully I explained my issue so you guys could understand it. This camera system was fairly easy to set up. The settings and user Menu is a little confusing. I have most of the original settings because The settings are confusing.
