Can be difficult to use the monitor. Initial set up was like expected. The cameras are okay quality. The picture is grainy if try to zoom or if looking a distance away. Night vision is impressive though. No issues with connectivity or lagging.

So right out the box I had issues with this DVR 8 camera system. I've contacted customer service more than 20times with in the past 7 months of me owning this! At first picture quality was 👎 got that taken care of then i had channels that going down left and right every few hours👎. Then the problems continued with the DVR not recording and storing the videos on the hard drive 👎. Then the one going issues with false detection even when they where reinstalled according to zosi recantations👎. All these problems where in going up until my DVR crashed and wouldn't boot up past the zosi screen. So I contacted customer service and they kept telling me to up date it, over and over again. Which I did. Followed their steps. Watched the videos they suggested just for it still not to work!! And they kept telling me I was doing it wrong. I got fed up with it after the 5th time they told me to reinstall it. The system stayed down longer than it was up and running! ... show more

This is actually the second camera system I have ordered from this company. I bought one for myself and then purchased one for my mother's home. It is a wired camera system but this means someone hacking it will be harder than wireless cameras. The video quality is really awesome and the memory size allows for a long time of recording and storage of surveillance around your home, business or wherever it is needed. Night vision works great as well just make sure to not forget your password to get into the system. This does have the ability to connect to the internet if you want for access to camera feed when away from your area. Within 4 months of use 1 camera faulted and now shows video loss. I used to install cameras professionally. The other cameras are unaffected on the same power supply. Cameras were swapped during troubleshooting to diagnose whether a wiring issue or onboard hardware issue. Affected camera never displayed video after alternate power source and using different NVR terminal. NVR was reset and problem persisted. Reached out to support and customer service continued to rattle off same response of basic troubleshooting after I gave them all info - order date, order number, item title, ASIN, model number of Zosi camera, Zosi NVR and Zosi splitter/AC adapter (power supply).
