I had purchased the DVR with set of four cameras recently but needed four more cameras. I had Swann security cameras and DVR before this brand. Although Swann was great, I can see yur brand has a much better and a much more clear picture. The reason I changed from Swann to your brand was lightning took out my DVR and four cameras. So my son ordered your brand and installed. Loved it, so ordered four more cameras. Hope lightning doesn't get this one. ... show more

I have a Q-SEE security system with DVR model QC9116. These cameras work perfectly (so far) as replacements for the QCA8050B 1080-P cameras that came with my system. They have a switch that can change from analog (mine) to other formats. I can't say if the other formats work, because I didn't need them. Now... if somebody could just tell me how to prevent my DVR Model QCA8050B from rebooting every 5 minutes, I would be happy. I've tried "voltage smoothers" which don't work. The problem is intermittent: sometimes the DVR works fine, and other times it reboots constantly. ... show more

Have been using this since February to replace a camera that had lost its IR lights over time. As promised, it was plug and play with my older analog system. It does work as advertised… HOWEVER….. The wide angle lens has its perks for capturing the entire width of my front yard, the downside to that wide angle is it distorts detail of anything that enters the FOV. I enjoy watching wildlife in my security cameras, and sadly that enjoyment was gone with the picture quality, and was truly noticeable when a large red tailed hawk landed on a bird bath 20 ft from the camera in broad daylight and I had to actually look out the window to identify what was moving in the bird bath. It is because of the terrible distortion I am only giving 3 stars. I am in the process of searching for another camera to replace this one that is NOT wide angle. UPDATE: I am very impressed that the seller immediately reached out to me in an attempt to help. To me this speaks volumes of their commitment to customers and that they stand behind their products ... show more
