I bought this system for my business and liked it so much I bought another. With constant recording i get a little over 2 weeks recording. I like the motion detecting for quickly locating customers, yellow box indicates motion, green no motion. I used this set for indoors and bought the second set for mostly outdoors. Night vision works nice in all locations. Good playback quality and speed, took a little getting used to the playback control but now I like it. At close range you can read license plates. This set came with black cameras and my second had white as well as white dome cameras. Picture quality appears to be same on all cameras but I prefer the construction of the white cameras. The adjustment screws on the black cameras were more difficult to adjust and I did strip one. My second system was also a 16 channel but with only 12 cameras and was able to use some of my old Samsung and zoo do cameras and wires without any problem.

I have purchased two of these systems. This is a great entry level system for the price point, especially considering that it can be expanded to 8 cameras. The picture quality is good and the the cameras seem to be well built. The software is well laid out and user friendly. The only down point is that of the two systems I purchased one out of the four power/av cables did not work and I had to purchase two separately to get the system fully operational, this isn't too usual because I've had the same issue with other system. I suggest when purchasing not only this system but any camera security system to purchase at least one extra power/av cable, even if you don't have to initially use it, they're good to have around just in case one goes out in the future because it does happen.

Let me preface this with the fact I am a video technician... I worked with Glow in NYC who does events throughout the city, aka Thai is not my first rodeo with video equipment. Great product although two of the eight cameras were a little fussy at night, I was in communication with Zosi support and the original problem wasn’t solved and then one of the cameras went out entirely. So the original problem wasn’t fixed and then one of the faulty cameras completely stopped working and zosi stopped responding to me. I tried switching inputs, power sources, cables, I tried everything. One camera still glitches at night and another is down for the count. The other 6 are amazing, work great and I would highly recommend. It’s just extremely frustrating to have two that I can’t use and the email support ghosted me. I would absolutely tell people interested to get these, if they only truly need six cameras instead of eight. Maybe another set would work better but since no one is communicating with me, I’m left to assume six is as good as it gets. Anyway, amazing quality- amazing view range, awesome night vision, and easy system to navigate and set up.

I was using this for security. It comes w/a 5 page "quick start guide" no support beyond that. Also 1 camera doesnt work, also the hard drive recorder is "flukey", tgey say the orig. Password is admin, i put thevpassword in as 1 of the FIVE pages tells me. "Wrong password" thus not only am I having severe problems, the hard drive seems to be "used". Amazon was alliwing me to switch the camera, sending the 1 in for a refund, purchasing the next, then the hard drive issue, to which they say they cannot switch hard drives, that i need to send the entire system back, to which I have already paid to have installed. The kicker, AMAZON got on the phone upping me to a suporvisor, the suporvisor stated i should have contacted them within the 30 days?! (I contacted them numerous times. To no avail) went on to say there is nothing i can do, extremely snarky and as for support the same, i should have contacted them within the 30 days? To which again i did. Refusing to swap harddrives(to which they sell singally. Then git really nasty when i attempted to reitterate IVE BEEN CALLING? THE SUPORVISOR STATED "I CANNOT HELP YOU, YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED WITHIN THE 30 DAYS AND HUNG UP ON ME!!! HOWEVER WHILE HANGING UP ON ME "BYE FOR NOW" i guess there supposed to say it....👉 the kicker👈 I PURCHASED THE 3 YEAR EXTENDED WARRENTY, AND TECH SUPPORT!! I AM BLOWN BY AMAZON'S UNCHARISTIC ATTITUDE, ESPECIALLY PAYING FOR 3 YEAR PRODUCT WARRENTY AND TECH SUPPORT. I Called back reminded them of this....to date no resolution, no harddrive, no tech support (their supposed to be calling within 48 hours, they have a few left?? Horrible horrible experiance.
