I'm an over 50 plus sized gal with large chest and arms and finding a truly comfortable summer dress is a huge challenge. Most of the light, summer dresses have short, short tight, or no sleeves (not happening), or longer tight sleeves or arm holes (can't move comfortably). True story: I haven't worn a dress above my ankles in years without tights under it! Lately I've wanted to wear a summer dress that is in style but still is age appropriate (no mega-mini dresses!) My holy grail of dresses: one that is in a cute Boho print, has a modest V neck, skims my knees, is cotton or cotton blend, and has a longer, loose sleeve. This dress works for me: hits right at my knees and is very flattering to my legs (5'9"), has wider arms and arm holes, ample chest space with minor cleavage showing, drapes nicely, feels light and comfortable. I will be hand-sewing 2" Boho trim to lengthen the sleeves so that they land below my elbows, but that's not a flaw, it's a personal preference and within my sewing ability. I bought the one in coffee and loved it so much I then bought the green. They both fit similarly, and are well-made. They are definitely weekend casual dresses, but - great news - I tried them with a cork wedge sandal and longer, relaxed below hip jacket, and they dress up really nicely! Having considered dresses at 3-4X the price, I can honestly say these are better for me and will be well-enjoyed. NOTE: Because of the fabric and cut, this dress does not cling and does not give shape - it can look very wide when standing still. I am getting over the "looking big in it" since it's flattering to my legs, to enjoy the comfort of a cool cotton and feel more appropriately dressed for the summer climate in the south.

The media could not be loaded. Wore this to Mexico, it was lightweight and I felt super cute in it. I unfortunately only have a video of my back in it but it was nice! It’s not see through either. Will say that it’s not the best for a windy day, the dress flew up on me during vacation and I had to hold it down. Only reason why I have it 4 stars is because I did order this in the past and the seams are not sewn properly. The first time order there were holes all around the dress at the seems, and well I don’t need people looking at my underwear. It hasn’t happened on this dress yet, but I expect it to fall apart soon.

I love the fabric of this dress- lightweight and very pretty with a vintage romantic vibe. I also like the neckline detail, it hugs the collarbone and is very attractive. Unfortunately this dress was way too big in the waist. I followed Amazon's recommended size 18 (xxl) for my measurements (44b-36w-48h) and I was swimming in the top. The bust fit ok, but the waist is elastic and kept sliding all over anytime I lifted my arms or twisted. The waist ended up sitting at my navel, instead of a bit higher (like its supposed to). If your pear-shaped, maybe size down one. The skirt is flowy and will covers my butt just fine. Length hits just above the knees. I still love it and will just put a belt over the waist next time I wear it.

I bought this dress for family pictures in a few weeks & it’s perfect. I am usually a 22 or 24 in dresses & I got a 24 & it’s nice & flowy. It’s a good length, comfy, and it has POCKETS. The sleeves aren’t too tight & it compliments my shape. I might have to buy this in every color!

I am a bottom-heavy woman who's only 5'3". However, my arms are rather large, even for someone who already wears an XL in most stuff. The arms of this dress are loose and fall nicely, cover the majority of my upper arms without being elbow length, and without being too...flouncy? I love it. A lot of times short sleeves are too tight even when made for a garment in my size, but these are great. Onto the rest of the dress. The waist hits at about my normal waistline (which is rather high though). I am not busty at all, so I have no idea with how being larger on top would affect one's choice of size for the dress. I sometimes wear a very light tank top/cami/etc under this just because of the slight V at the neckline, but it's not needed if I'm not wearing this to work or around relatives. It falls above my knees just a little bit (not too unlike the pics on the model) - I feel comfortable with that length even in a professional setting. Number one selling point is the POCKETS. I wear an insulin pump and pockets are required for my dresses now, as it needs to be accessible at all times to turn off any alerts or etc that pop up, and so I don't have to go hide somewhere any time I need to give myself a bolus because it was hidden under my clothes. Downside is the weight of that does pull the dress down a tiny bit, but if I put my phone in the opposite pocket, it stays balanced :) Even if you don't require pockets for medical reasons -- dresses with pockets are still so much better than without, especially when you have a dress with a skirt like this where having a pocket doesn't disrupt the shape of anything. The dress is very lightweight, so keep wearing your exercise shorts or the like underneath not only to avoid chub rub, but to avoid flashing your underthings to anyone when the wind picks up. I've also worn this dress over tights in the winter (I have the black with pink flowers). It works just as well then. I get a ton of complements on this dress and am considering buying another in the same color just in case something happens to the first! I have washed this dress solely in cold water, inside a lingerie bag, and maybe only let it go in the dryer for a few min on low to give it a headstart on the drying process (usually I let it air dry). It is not the most expensive dress or such, so how you care for it will extend the life of it for sure. TL;DR : great dress for women who look good in this shape, has useful pockets, and plenty of arm space with good drape.

I got two of these- one in navy print and one in black print. The navy print is light and flowy- perfect for the beach. The black print is slightly tight on the chest, but not unbearably so. A little weird since they’re the same size (24) from the same company, but that’s okay. The black print will be better for a lunch date or even work. (It’s still nice and light though!). The sleeves cover the “bat wings”/arm chub perfectly. The dresses are modest- cleavage doesn’t ooze out. They hit a little past knee length on me (5’4”). Overall, they’re perfect, and a shockingly great addition to an Amazon clothes haul.
