But it is not compatible with new energy vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and models that do not comply with the OBD2 protocol. How to connect OBD2 scanner with vehicle and read/clear code? 1. Turn off ignition, connect the code reader to the car. 2. Turn on ignition, the car scanner will automatically connect to your car. 3. Start engine, press F1 and it will automatically read the fault codes, then press the OK button to clear. Does the scanner support proprietary protocols such as SRS, ABS, TPMS? Sorry, this OBD2 does not have these functions. Its main function is to diagnose the vehicle's engine system, identify fault codes and clear them. Why I need an OBDII scanner?
