Opened the box and thought OMG, this is gonna be a pain to put together, and take forever. The instructions has a QR code to a YouTube video on how to put it together. Definitely watch it! I had it put together in less than an hour. It comes with an Allen wrench as well as a ratcheting Allen wrench. You don't need any other tools. It is well made. All the holes lined up. I have mine in a carpeted room, but if you have flooring that is not, maybe get something for the feet so it doesn't slide around and to protect your floor. Plenty of space underneath for storage. If you don't like the look of metal, then get the fabric covers made for them. I slept on mine last night, with my new mattress, and it felt sturdy and I was comfortable. The ends of it has holes so it can be attached to a headboard, if desired. A few of the rods have adhesive on them to keep your mattress from sliding. ... show more

Not too heavy and took me about 30 minutes to out together. They include a little ratcheting wrench for all the bolts, so that is nice. Went together pretty easy, however, there are 2 of the bolts that need to be longer. The two that go into the middle post that secure the two legs that collapse are two short so those 2 legs are not secure. All of the bolts in the package are the same size. I'm going to have to go to the hardware store and hope I can find two bolts that will work to secure these legs. Otherwise it's pretty decent bed frame. It will fold in half once assembled but it's one big piece at least for the queen frame. It folds to roughly half the length but the same width as a queen frame. ... show more

Sturdy No noises (squeaking, etc) Not very tall so not much storage space underneath Super easy to assemble- came with the Allen wrench and hardware We used a memory foam mattress- great support Best part it folds up nice and thin with out disassembling any part of it! Hard to find these narrow beds. This one very easy to put together, very sturdy, not noisy when you move around on it. Tall enough for storage under. Tall enough for senior to get up from easily.

The ratchet that was included in this mattress platform really did it for me. I have bought so many products from Amazon that come with allen wrenches and my hands always hurt after assembly, not to mention it takes forever. When I opened this and seen the ratchet I immediately knew it was going to be a piece of cake, and it was. I will 100% recommend this company just for that.
