    • Good variety and good value, the yarn itself is a more hairy/loose kind
Lots and lots of yarn, perfect for trying out crocheting without splurging and with all the colors you can do many projects. To put into perspective the rolls came in a bag the size of three big baking trays stacked on top of each other. Something to note about the yarn is that are a bit fuzzy so if you’re starting off crocheting like me, you should be careful about your hook catching in between the threads, but after some time you’ll get used to it. I eventually spent 4 of these rolls on a project! I would buy again! ... show more

    • Decent yarn for the price
I've heart a lot of good things about Red Heart yarn, using it was another experience. The first batch I bought was fine, the skein are small but that's to be expected in kits. The yarn would split while crocheting but it wasn't too yard to work with as far as that went. Second order had a strange factory smell to it but the same quality and colors as the first. I've made many projects with this yarn, second batch was also a little rougher in my fingers not as soft as the first. Great yarn for the price and the colors are so pretty. Comes in a bag which makes storing them easier, and I loved that the center pull was easy to find in these yarns. Already started for you. True to weight, it is worsted weight yarn which is great some of these kits say they are but they're smaller. Color and thickness consistent throughout the entire skein, there were some factory knots in both sets but weren't too annoying I just cut them out. One knot in maybe 2>3 skeins wasn't too much. These are very small but I was able to make these cute head band/ear warmers. There is not enough to make 2 from each roll, but for the price, I would probably buy again. You can see how much is left after 1 headband is made.

Is exactly what is says it is. The colors are juat like in the picture and the yarn does not easily fray.

    • Good color choices in the snap closure plastic bag
This is not soft baby yarn...it is thicker and stronger. I wanted to make baby caps with it, made one, it turned larger than I wanted and is scratchy. It can be used on size 8 or larger needles easily. It will be a good training yarn for a new knitting learner, as it does not tangle when using.
