The media could not be loaded. This camera is so much fun. I got it for my five year old daughter is obsessed with taking pictures like her mom. I thought it would be so much fun for her to get an actual picture to hang up immediately. This camera comes with a 20 sheet set with 2x3 inch Zink paper. The paper comes in two sleeves of 10 within foil wrapping so not to be easily exposed by the Sun. When putting the paper in, the camera didn't come with a set of instructions within the box, although it did give a website to be able to download the latest firmware, but I wanted to see if I could figure it out on my own and through trial and error, I figured that the paper goes picture side up. So you can see the backing of the paper has the logo and writing on it that will face the inside of the camera. I showed in the video exactly how to do this. You don't have to slide it through or anything, you just place it flat in there and close it quickly so there isn't much light exposure. There is a shutter cover on the front that just pops off. It's magnetized and easy to pull on and off so that's a nice protective option for this camera. It also came with a lanyard and there's a section on the left side of the camera to put the lanyard through to hold with your wrist. On the top of the camera you have the red shutter button which takes the picture, you have a 10 second timer that you press if you're trying to get the perfect position or be in the picture, you have the viewing window in the middle. All you have to do is press it down and it pops up. That little window is what you look through to frame your picture. Just to the left of that is the flash button that lights up when it selected and the color gradient is next to that. You press down on the color gradient to show what colors you are hoping to expose on your picture. In the video, I chose the colorful selection. It comes with a charging cord that is similar to my Android charging cord for my phone and tablet. It also has the option of using an SD card to save pictures. There's no viewing window to look at your pictures later within the camera, so you would have to take the SD card out to manipulate those photos. That was honestly the only thing that I would change about this camera is a viewing window to maybe be able to select the pictures I want to print. I did however get this for my five-year-old who will be extremely happy to have her own camera and be able to see pictures immediately. The pictures aren't perfect, but definitely would be a fun time for her birthday party that's coming up where her and her friends can take selfies using the timer and instantly have a picture documenting that time. It's a lot of fun, really cute to look at, and I would definitely recommend this as a gift or just for fun. I'm having a lot more fun with it than I expected and I'm definitely going to be buying more of this Zinc paper. ... show more

    • The Real Deal with the Polaroid Snap

First of all, this little camera is AMAZING!!!! It has good (enough) quality and much variety and choice in pictures. Before getting the Polaroid Snap, I did LOADS of research before I decided against my other option, a Fujifilm instax mini 70. It’s perfect for me! I had seen bad reviews and was very scared to get it, but finally went for it, and I’m glad I did. For your convenience, here’s the truth: Heads ups, FYIs, advice, and (a few) opinions too. PHOTOS AREN’T PERFECT>>> No photos are perfect. Make sure you know that when you buy the Snap. It’s mostly for fun and not very professional. However, you can always get some very good photos out of it. FIRMWARE UPDATE>>> Get an SD card with the Snap. It will come in handy, especially when you want a casual photo and don’t want to use up paper. Your SD card will allow you to get a firmware update as well. That will fix photobooth mode in most cameras. NO ACCIDENTAL SHOTS>>> The latest firmware won’t let you take a picture with the lens cap on which is REALLY convenient when it comes to saving paper and storage on an SD card. VARIETY>>> The Snap is a fun camera with loads of choices and variety to your pictures. It really makes taking pictures unique and enjoyable. SLEEK DESIGN>>> The Snap is really slim and sleek. It can fit in a shirt pocket and is really easy to hold. It also has a lanyard so you don’t drop it. STICKERS!!!>>> The back of zink paper can be peeled off to reveal a sticky back. Perfect for scrapbooking, your pictures are now stickers!! SELF-ADJUSTING FLASH>>> Unlike the instax mini 8 and 70, the Snap has self adjusting flash. It will turn itself off if you’re in a very BRIGHT area. DON’T WAIT TO OPEN IT>>> The first Polaroid Snap I got broke down (didn’t close when powered down) just like I had read in reviews. I was so sad that it happened to me, but I decided to give it another try. So, I shipped it back for another one. This one works PERFECTLY!! Just don’t wait more than 30 days to open it so Amazon can let you return it… I’ve seen many reviews in which people have said that they didn’t know about the return window. Here's what I love! *9 different ways to shoot a picture: 1) black/white with border 2) vintage with border and 3) color with border(which also looks sort of vintage) 4) black/white no border 5) vintage no border 6) color no border 7) photobooth black/white 8) photobooth vintage 9) photobooth color *sleek, fun design *fun wallet-sized photos *easy as charge, load paper or sd card, and shoot picture *picture prints in seconds Here's what could improve! *no instructions besides a basic two photo turn on/off and one showing paper going in the back...no words, and doesn't tell you which way to load paper so you have to try a couple of times( to save you trouble load with piece of paper shiny side up towards you) *again with the instructions it didn't tell you how to use any of the features, all trial and error.. For instance, for photobooth mode you just need to hold down the shutter for a few seconds(which we found out on accident) all of the other ones are easy to figure out, it would just be nice to have instructions in case your getting it for someone older. *photo paper is hard to get(and the camera doesn't come with any) I could only get it through Amazon 3 days after I got the camera (it's my first day so I haven't got it yet) I went on bestbuy.com and got it there but it was out of stock for a day too!!! I finally got some the day the camera got here(two day shipping) *picture quality(but it was what I expected) I actually love the vintage style, but I know a lot of people would prefer the crystal clear digital prints you can get nowadays Overall love it!!!!
