Priced as moderately as this bar stool is, I have to say that I wasn't expecting too much. I took the parts out of the carton when it arrived, recycled the packaging, and set the pieces on my workbench until this morning. First, I must say that I didn't need a barstool but this item caught my attention when I saw that the measurements were exactly what I was looking for in a side table to hold an electric fan. Assembling this barstool was painless and took little time. The seller was gracious enough to include extra screws as well as a hex tool to tighten everything up. The stool cushion is covered in a faux leather material which looks nice and is surprisingly well padded. As far as performing as a barstool, it felt very sturdy for my 160 lbs and there was absolutely no reason for me to think otherwise, even though I am going to be using it as a table. I would most definitely purchase this barstool again. Seems to be a good value for the money and I would certainly recommend it.

This stool assembles easily (25 min for me, and I tend to be somewhat mechanically challenged) into a stylish bar stool. While it comes with an Allen wrench, if you have an electric driver or power drill fitted with an appropriately sized bit, you will decrease your assembly time, save lots of manual effort, and have a more secure final assembly. Once it was all together, I noticed some superficial scratches in the seat material. A quick wipe with a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with a leather/vinyl conditioner & protector eliminated the slight imperfections and gave a smooth uniform finish. Once fully assembled, I observed two things: 1) This is a relatively short stool. When sitting on it, the surface of my bar was at or just slightly above shoulder height - which isn't ideal. 2) This stool does not convey a sense of sturdiness. It felt unnervingly wobbly, but in the end it held up. With that said, this stool could easily be repurposed as an accent piece or bedside table. Undeniably 6, I would choose this stool for it's design and aestetics. 6

ZHOOGE Bar Stool with Footrest has a sleek and streamline Mid-Century Modern look. The 25-inch tall frame and the backless design allow us to slide this counter height bar chair underneath the countertop overhang, so it can be tucked away completely. The Synthetic Leather top is padded and comfortable enough to sit for a quick meal, but a bit too small for long conversation. While the assembly was straightforward and the screws seem to be sturdy, the final product is just a bit too lightweight for me to feel comfortable letting my young kid climb onto it. At less than $32, it's affordable and convenient to have this bar stool as extra seating though.

I'm a bit disappointed by this stool. Installation should have been pretty straightforward, but I had some rough points -- the bolts sometimes had to be wiggled quite a bit to find where they'd go. I also was not attentive enough and didn't realize I flipped the upper and lower brackets on one side because the instructions didn't call specific attention to the holes. My very last bolt that was supposed to attach the cushion is one I struggled the most with -- I was beginning to think they didn't pre-drill a hole, but then found a loose, warped staple inside, preventing the bolt from fitting in. A little frustrating, but then... The final product really didn't feel that rewarding. The cushion is synthetic and comes with a chemical smell. Sitting on it, it also isn't particularly comfortable. It is also very lightweight, which doesn't feel good when sitting on it -- like this is potentially a topple-risk and I wouldn't want my little kids seated on this thing. It looks attractive and is inexpensive, but just doesn't feel sturdy enough.

This is the perfect bar stool for our kitchen counter. The simple design looks great, and the cushion is very well-padded and comfortable. The assembly was not difficult, and the height is perfect for my use. The price is a great value for such a good chair.
