Coming from a weebill s this is a great gimbal, I am very happy with the upgrade but keep in mind that I did it because I was sharing my weebil s, I was very happy with its performance but wanted something mine, the weebill 3s has some welcome upgrades but it is not a game changer or a necessity to upgrade. Huge upgrade from the weebill s? Not in my opinion, the arms feel sturdier when locked, wireless video record start and stop is very good for me (occasionally had problems with the wired connection on the weebil S might be my camera's fault), the joystick feels a lot better and vertical shooting is very good hardly any rebalancing needed when switching from horizontal to vertical in my experience. Also auto balance works a lot better on the 3s. One major gripe on both gimbals is the plate, I'm an Arca swiss fan my father used it before me and all our cameras have had them with great results. If you use arca, invest on an a arca adapter plate. I got an Andycine one for my weebil s that has unfortunately gone out of stock but it improves workflow a lot and with an L plate I did vertical shooting on the weebil s no problem, it fits on the gimbal, on manfrotto style heads and works like a charm, can't recommend it enough. Don't remember the specs between the two maybe it is all because of the extra handle on my weebil s, had the tripod and a smallrig handle on the back (I didnt get the full combo on the 3s) but my setup felt lighter and easier to manage on the weebill s, on the 3s after a day of shooting my arms where tired. That leads me to my next point, I got the 3s on sale for $250 which was a great deal for the newer gimbal. The handle and wrist rest seem like a very good addition, which I will get at some point, I do miss the extra handle for sling mode and more comfort. But I couldn't bring myself to pay the extra money for that silly looking tube backpack that was going to be stored immediately. Get the normal combo that includes the foam case and get the handle later. Next sale on the handle I will get it for sure: helps in underslung, more stability in general and you could mount a monitor to it. Overall im happy with my new gimbal and would suggest it if you are looking to get a gimbal for the first time, if the setup you have is working stick to it for now.

This stabilizer, The WEEBILL 3S, is excellent. I communicated with ZHIYUM on several occasions to make sure it would handle my equipment. And they did not fail me. The price on Amazon was the best I found on the internet.

I'm not a cinematographer, but only because I need more time to practice with my equipment and learn as many skills as possible. Camera motion is very important. I have sliders, a jib crane, wheeled tripods, and gimbals. I own gimbals from two other manufacturers, and I can definitely say that I am pleasantly surprised by this one. I have bigger and smaller gimbals. The bigger ones are for my compact ENG cameras (camcorder form factor), and the smaller ones are for action cameras. The Weebill 3S is for my mirrorless camera, which happens to be a Nikon Z6 II. Right off the bat, I'm glad that the manufacturers stick to a standard when it comes to the trigger button in the front. Two presses level the camera, and three presses turn the camera back on the cameraperson (selfie mode). The Weebill 3S stands out because it is so easy to balance. One of my larger gimbals is more complicated and trickier to balance. But to be fair, that larger gimbal also has some cool features, like the ability to be wirelessly remote-controlled via an included controller. I have professional studio lights, but having a decent light on the gimbal is a very welcome feature. I can use it for fill or for informal situations. It's a significant and useful feature, for sure. Another thing that impressed me is that it's relatively simple to figure out and use. Yes, I said figure it out. I don't read manuals unless I need to know how to do something that I know the product can do. I try on my own to figure out how something works before I turn to the manual. The reason I mention that is because I was able to figure out most of the controls. If you can do that, the product is well-designed. If you have to keep going to the manual, then the design could be better. I was up and running in no time. I had to refer to the manual to learn how to operate the light and to learn the full extent of the buttons and dials. If you don't read the manual at some point, then you may end up cheating yourself. It's good to know all the features and functions, even if you don't use all of them. I've only recently begun to acquire Zhiyun products and not just gimbals. Their standard of quality and attention to detail have impressed me enough that I have added them to my list of trusted manufacturers. In other words, there are some manufacturers whom I can trust by name alone. The Weebill 3S has confirmed that my other positive experiences with Zhiyun products is not a fluke. They make good stuff. This is the standard model. The next higher package includes, among other things, a "sling" grip. I wish that they sold it separately. As of this writing, the extra items are not sold separately, so choose wisely. I haven't said anything about the performance (yet). That's because it performs well. It doesn't do weird things like start shaking or give you a hard time with auto-tuning. I have a gimbal that does both of those things. This one just works and works well. Highly recommended.

I have a fujifilm x-t3. While it’s “technically” supported, the footage looks very bad. It’s definitely too heavy and the motors have to work overtime to keep it stable. It drifts on the x axis and the footage looks jittery. It’s a shame cause I actually really like it, just make sure you have a very light camera. I wouldn’t try any larger apps-c or full frame body’s regardless of the compatibility list.

The media could not be loaded. Firstlt this is my 1st handheld gimbal. My first impressions was its small then i thought Little bit intimidating but quickly found mybway around Comfortable to hold. I have big hands so i can only speak for myself The joystick was a good position for me, the other buttons seem to be located In spots that work for my fingers Was fairly easy to setup after a few videos Balance is key and m owing it's limits helps Battery def meets my needs I have not even out a dent into the use so i will report back after use Seems like very top quality even as some parts being plastuc like the tripod which is pretty beefy Next is to setup Bluetooth with my sony zv-e10 camera Love it so far! Cannot wait to upload some videos i made Good pricing as well without the combo. Im shre thr combo a better value The wrist and handle support would make it easier to use
