I purchased this gimbal to pair with my Canon R6 MkIII and a 50mm anamorphic lens for video work. Granted the setup instructions are a bit sparse, it didn't take long to figure it out and get it balanced. The touch screen is a bit small for my fingers but doesn't need to be accessed that often. The little trip base supplied with it is nice but is a bit insufficient when a bigger lens is used. It boasts NATO mounting points for accessories (I have a 7" wide screen monitor on it) which wirk okay, but balancing it and a table can be unpredictable. For the price, this gimbal can't be beat! DJI created a great device that you'll wonder how you never got by without one! Highly recommended! ... show more

I was excited to get the unit but as soon as I got things set up I found out the screen did not work. On top of that getting the device setup on the app took two days as the serial number was not recognized the first day. Went through the update process once I was set up on the app, thinking am update might fix whatever is causing the screen not to work. It did one update and then started doing a second update and always failed to complete the process. I then spent two hours on the phone with DJI support to see if they could walk me through a process to trouble shoot and potentially getting the unit to work properly. The support person was of little help, needing to explain multiple times what the issue is and what I had already done to see if I could trouble shoot things. They were unable to help and eventually said it would be best to return the device to Amazon. After this I contacted Amazon and was hoping to exchange this unit for another. I went through explaining what the manufacturer recommended and after some back and forth and discussing with their manager they would only do return and refund. I was disappointed in both DJI foe the little help they were and not wanting to stand behind their product. I was disappointed in Amazon as well for not doing an exchange, as they have done countless times for me in the past with other defective products. Now I no longer want to order this device again because I'm not sure if what I receive would work or if it worked how long it would last before something went out on it.     • Pretty good but a little hard to set up

I have never had a gimbal but I was very impressed when I first got this. It takes a good amount of time to set up though. To set it up you have to adjust all these levers and it is very very precise and touchy with made it hard to line it up perfectly. Once set up though it is really fun to use and mess around with. It has many different features including area lock, a joy stick for moving it around, and many different stabilization features. Another thing I would like to point out is the weight it is definitely not very light and is more on the heavier side. I couldn’t ask for anything more affordable and durable, this gimbal has improved my videography work tremendously and I plan. The battery life last almost a whole day, it’s easily adjustable.
