    • Works but overpriced
This works for getting audio into a GoPro, but is overpriced and should not be needed. For the price of a GoPro they should already have a microphone input or allow Bluetooth audio input. The cameras lacking this capability just screams GoPro nickel and diming customers.

If you don't want to use the media mod then this is the way to go, using it on a hero 9 black with zero issues. The only "issue" is with the Ulanzi plastic cage I'm using, the adapter fit is really loose, a folded up "sticky note" solved that problem.

The only complaint is that it does not appear to do data passthrough, just power, over the Type C connector. No big deal, just plug in direct.

I use this adapter for my motorcycle helmet, and it works great. It's a little weird to find where to put it on the helmet, but I just tied it to my gopro somehow lol.

This does work with the external power bank and a microphone attached also. On the GoPro you have to make sure it is on the power microphone in the settings. Youtube is a good resource.
