I like this unit. SO many mount points for all of your accessories. Easy disassembly to fit your camera in from the top & button the top plate back down. 3 cold shoes for lights, Mics and monitors. Nice adjustable rods for long lenses, shades and filters.

THIS UNIT IS AWESOME FOR HOLDING YOUR GOPRO 12 AND YOUR DJI MIC MINI 2 ALSO YOU CAN ADD YOUR PHONE SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOUR CAMERA IS SEEING ON A BIGGER SCALE.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR A BETTER STABLE SHOT.

This thing is exactly what you want if you're looking for a good sturdy camera cage... that happens to be cheaper that some of the other ones. But seriously. It's pretty great. It's got a nice bit of weight so that adds to its usefulness when doing some handheld shots with it. It's got a nice amount of places to add more items on to it for versatility. Like lights, mics, etc. My pic has the cam cage with a G9 mounted in it. It's got room for the battery compartment to open, and I'd wager most cams like it can do the same. My only complaint, is that I can't fully open the lcd screen to the side. So I just end up flipping it around and reseating it in the middle instead of to the side, but... that's probably to be expected. So yeah, overall I'd recommend this for anyone needing a cam cage to help with shots, accessories, mics, lights, etc. Especially if you've got one of those cameras that there aren't a lot of (or no) camera cages made for.

The rig itself is fine but the left handle is blocking the hdmi port on the A7IV. This severely inhibits the ability to use an external monitor w/ the device and honestly killed the excitement for it. However, in terms of it being a good rig for the money, I think it is. A lot of places to mount things, lightweight, & sturdy, pretty good in theory. Just wish it was a bit better in practice

I have a very expensive Gimbal which I use but more often than not I find myself turning to this because it does the trick for many situations. Add to this the simplicity of setup makes this a must have for many videophiles.
