This thing is exactly what you want if you're looking for a good sturdy camera cage... that happens to be cheaper that some of the other ones. But seriously. It's pretty great. It's got a nice bit of weight so that adds to its usefulness when doing some handheld shots with it. It's got a nice amount of places to add more items on to it for versatility. Like lights, mics, etc. My pic has the cam cage with a G9 mounted in it. It's got room for the battery compartment to open, and I'd wager most cams like it can do the same. My only complaint, is that I can't fully open the lcd screen to the side. So I just end up flipping it around and reseating it in the middle instead of to the side, but... that's probably to be expected. So yeah, overall I'd recommend this for anyone needing a cam cage to help with shots, accessories, mics, lights, etc. Especially if you've got one of those cameras that there aren't a lot of (or no) camera cages made for.

I used this to film a Groom getting ready for his wedding which was a smaller space than normal. I was able to get some great footage with my Canon 90d, my wide-angle lens and a 7"lcd screen on this setup. Although you will have to take the two bars out when doing so for wider footage. I plan on building this rig up with more accessories in the future.

This rig is sturdy with lots of extras to create your own personal setup. Side and top handles feel great. Good grips in my opinion. Everything was a perfect fit for me and the design was exactly what I was looking for. Functionality flows flawlessly. highly recommend

This cage is awesome! Took two stars off because it was missing the 4 screws to attach the handle and bottom mount for your rods, which meant taking a trip to my local camera store that’s across town, so major inconvenience there. Aside from that once the build was complete this cage performs well. It’s super versatile and I like the it isn’t an exact fit for my camera giving me for flexibility with connecting to the ports on the camera. I’ve used this cage for interviews, filming documentaries, music videos etc. Pair this with a nice lens with an IS feature and you’ll be ready to take on anything 💪🏾

I have a very expensive Gimbal which I use but more often than not I find myself turning to this because it does the trick for many situations. Add to this the simplicity of setup makes this a must have for many videophiles.

I got this for a filming project I am working on. I had some other NEEWER cages and stablilzers that were broken apart that I was having to Frankenstein to get working with other gear. This covers all of my needs and I am able to mount up the other pieces into this one without any problems. You can tune the balance so it can hang off one finger and have full stability.
