This item is not as advertised, it does not work on fire wood, I had some dried fire wood in my pile, and it would not split that with any drill, battery operated or corded. It also does not have any warnings regarding the possible injuries one could get from operation of this device, I almost broke my wrist from the force of the drill when it jams into the wood, even when you are ready for that reaction. In my opion, this tool is very very dangerous,and does not preform as stated!! worst tool ever!

The cones start into the log (12”long, 10” diameter ) and then STOP , will break your arm. I tried large first, then when I got it out tried the small. It is still stuck. I turned the log on its side and tried the large one there. It is still there. I am not going to keep trying until I jerk something out of place or break a bone.
