Review for GDHXW X-887 High Pressure Washer Gun I bought this for use on my DeWalt DWPW2100 electric pressure washer. The gun fit on the stock hose without use of an adapter. The gun seems to be well built and worked well. I already had a foam cannon so I didn't test that. It comes with a number of nozzles. I tested the 15, 40, and 0 degree varieties and they all fit and worked as expected. The DeWalt nozzles also fit without issues. This is a very nice item for car washing at home. It's compact, very easy to use and include some accesories to insert in the pressure washer machine, depending of how you want to use it. Very useful product and very nice foaming effect.

    • For the price I feel this was a good purchase
For the price I feel this was a good purchase, I received the newer version (yellow on handle) I had never used a foam cannon before but looked into it because of an RV purchase. I can see the benefits for both my vehicles and the house with a mixture of soap and bleach. As others have complained several of the spray tips are poorly made, 2 of mine are bad, the outside edges of the pattern are more like a zero-degree tip, so verify yours on the concrete before using it on anything that can be damaged (paint, screens, wood, etc.). Several things I have read in other reviews: first of all NO this will not fit on your garden hose, it will serve no purpose if you do! it's for a pressure washer. Yes you may need to buy a fitting if you use one of the cheaper or off-brand homeowner pressure washers. To keep it working I suggest purchasing some RV antifreeze, remove the water from the gun and foam cannon (flicking it and pulling the trigger) pour a bit in the clear plastic tube of the foam cannon it will run straight thru, and some in the handle of the gun while pulling the trigger. I also suggest this for your washer pump, I have a 3-foot hose attached to mine that I fill up with the RV antifreeze and turn the engine over until it comes out pink (I do not leave my hose attached) this prevents your seals from drying out, keeps the internals from corroding and prevents damage from freezing. Where the cannon attaches to the gun handle there is an o-ring there. If you have no tip or the cannon attached to the gun and squeeze the trigger the pressure can blow the o-ring out, this will cause it to leak with these items attached (they are easy to replace (small pick) and cheap. I did not play with the adjustments on the cannon, because I was happy with the pattern. If it only sprays foam when you have it upside down, your plastic tube in the cannon is missing or fell off. If you take care of it then it should last, I will update if I have future issues. ... show more

The pressure washer gun and nozzles work fine. The foam canister regulator is a piece of junk! The valve is so loose it won't hold at whatever amount of soap you want it to dispense. I would never recommend this product because of that!

Easy to use, love that it came with extra tips, can't go wrong with those, and I love that I can use the foam cannon with either my original long wand, or the shorter one provided. Sometimes using the shorter one provided can be hard on the wrist using one hand. (For reference i use a standard gas powered 3200 psi) ... show more

Not bad, does blast through soap rather quickly.. Although I should have gotten down to business rather than trying to make my car a white fluffy foam encased thing. Adjustment knob is rather loose, the design could use an O-Ring or something just for knob friction. Never did really find much difference with the adjustment. As mentioned it goes through soap. One full bottle and an SUV does make-ith empty. Included tips are nice, handle pretty good. I had purchased some extensions and used this to blast my deck. Rating will/would probably increase with time as I become more familiar with it. For the price vs what you get. Yeah it's worth it. Adapters are handy, I didn't think I was going to need one but in fact did, so it was handy that it was included. ... show more
