One of these units is fine if you just want to prospect and have some fun. But if you want to make real profit you are going to have to upsize. In the photo are 3 units which make a flare sluice 18" wide and 8 feet long. Anyone who makes new for profit knows a flare sluice is the most efficient design for catching all gold, even the ultra fine stuff. My unit still needs more miners moss, but what you see is what came in the boxes and nothing more. You'll pay a thousand bucks for the "Hog" version available online. This one cost me less than $220.00. Since miners moss cannot be beat for efficiency, I'm already ahead of the game. This unit will soon become a highbanker able to also adapt to a dredge pump. ... show more

ordered this for a friend and he absolutely loves it. he uses it every Monday (at least) every week since he got it. light weight. easy to pack in to the mining site. the travel bag that comes with it, is a nice bag but the sharp edges of the sluice do poke holes in the bag rather quickly. we got a new travel bag, now we couldn't be happier. ... show more
