Unbelievable. I'm literally blown away. Dad jokes aside, what a monumental upgrade. Ran a PB580 before. Great machine! Then I inherited a PB755ST from my landscaping crew at work as they were retiring it. It was a pretty significant upgrade from the 580, so I ran with it but there were still some areas where I could benefit from MO POWA. Enter the PB9010. An absolute powerhouse, and reduce the time I spend keeping my property spotless. This thing moves air like I've never experienced. And at the price I got it, which felt like a steal under 600 bucks, it's worth every penny. Now, I admit, I wanted the new Husqvarna 590, but for nearly 200 more... It didn't feel justifiable. I'm sure it's an unbelievable machine, but this Echo is plenty. Note that it is loud, so be prepared. I like to use my noise canceling earbuds, and it seems to make it very tolerable. It's also heavy, and moves so much air that it pushes against you as you walk forward. It runs very smoothly, it starts easily, and is pretty simple to use. I preferred the off switch on the old 755ST, versus the shutoff integrated into the cruise control similar to the 580... But you get used to it.

This is the most powerful leaf blower I have ever used. I can now clean up my backyard and front yard in half the time it took me with my corded electric Toro. It is a little heavy but this leaf-moving monster will save you so much time and energy during yard cleanups. I have big front and backyards so I tackle things in 1/4's. It takes me 4 days to clean my entire yard, about 10-15 minutes per section. Also, here is a tip for easy mounting after you start-up the blower b/c it is fairly heavy. I pick it up after I start it (idle), put it on top of a 55-gallon drum I have in my yard, and then I squat a little, put both arms through the backpack straps, and stand straight up. This is much easier than trying to pick this thing up off the ground and trying to get it on your back. It was easy to assemble and started right up after pressing the gasoline primer bulb 4 or 5 times and setting the choke . Remember, this is a 2-cycle engine (no oil) but you must mix 2.6 oz of 2-cycle oil with each gallon of gasoline to achieve the 50:1 oil/fuel ratio mix that this blower requires. I bought this 2-cycle oil from Amazon. I will post the link below. I have an acre of property and over the 7 years I've been living here have been trying all sorts of methods to clear the leaves. Mowing them up works great, but you're emptying the bag every five minutes. I have a nice Makita leaf blower, would blow them into a pile and use my Toro vac shredder to mulch them into a garbage can then dump them in the woods. Once that became too tiresome, I started blowing them into a tarp and dragging that to the woods. I finally added it up and realized it was taking me about 10 hours to clear the leaves in the yard. And I do multiple clearings as the leaves fall during the year, so multiply that 10 hours by 3. Finally decided to stop messing around and buy a more powerful blower and see if that helped. Reviews suggested this Echo was one of the most powerful on the market. I have an Echo chainsaw I like very much, so I bought it. Result? The entire lawn cleared in 2 hours. This machine is unbelievable powerful, actually pushes you back as you use it. The piles of leaves, sticks, other debris had no chance. This means I'll be saving 20 to 24 hours each year on leaf clearing. Amazing. Word of warning, though, be careful around existing plants and bushes, especially new growth, as this thing will knock them over. (Sorry, hon.) Also it is loud. I initially only wore muff style ear protection, but quickly decided to put plus in as well. And wear your goggles. This machine kicks things up hard. And make sure you knock all the debris out of your hair before you go in the house. (Sorry again, hon.) All in all, a life changing machine. Worth every penny.

When I unboxed the ECHO PB9010T, I was impressed with how well-packed and intact it was. Assembly was straightforward, though it took me about 20 to 30 minutes to get the tubing orientation right. You get four blower tubes, two pipe clamps, and a clever plastic disk to prevent the wind from blowing on your back — a thoughtful touch, especially for those chilly days! Now let’s talk power! Imagine strapping an 80CC dirt bike engine to your back — that’s what this blower feels like. It's incredibly powerful, and yes, it’s LOUD. I highly recommend using hearing protection while operating it. But trust me, once you fire it up, you’ll realize why. This beast of a machine moves wet, heavy leaves, sticks, rocks, dog mess, and more like they’re nothing. Even thatch and pine needles deep in your lawn won’t stand a chance! Every time I squeeze the trigger, I can feel the raw power in my hands. I honestly look forward to clearing my yard now — it’s that much fun. Just remember to be considerate of your neighbors and avoid early-morning leaf-blowing marathons!

Plenty of power with this blower! I have 14 large oak trees that dump a ton of leaves in the fall. I get the whole yard done, after they all fall, in about 2 hours. One big cleanup, all the leaves down at once. Blows leaves, wet or dry. Sticks in the leaves, no issue. Don't blow towards windows or your vehicle. This will send a lot of small debris including rocks flying. Glad I bought this, and would recommend it to anybody with a lot of leaves to blow.

As a senior citizen that owns a large property in the woods of New Hampshire, I am always looking for machines that enable me to keep up with the yard chores at my age. This Echo blower easily cut my time on the job in half. As an engineer, I appreciate good machines, and this is a keeper. I love this thing, it makes me lough out loud every time I use it. At idle it sounds like an old dirt bike, not a blower. It is so powerful that I think some states might require a License To Carry. If this blower grew up to be a vehicle, it would become a Ram-TRX. Now for the down side of ownership: This thing is thirsty, but that's why it has a large gas tank. The design of the cruise-control needs a redesign. It is too easy to go from "return to idle", to "turn it off". Since this unit is somewhat heavy, it needs a waist belt and chest strap added to the harness. I adapted the waist buckle assembly and the chest strap from my old dead Husky blower onto my Echo. All is good now.

Like others have said, this thing is a beast. I'm 68 and getting wimpy so, I don't want to spend a lot of time blowing leaves. My review will be all pros. So far, I can find no cons. I've only put 2 hours on it so far but I am thoroughly impressed. I couldn't wait to write a review. I haven't given it full throttle other than to test it. Half throttle, it blows harder and faster than I can walk behind it. Like one review, idle speed cleans up around the house easily. The straps are very comfortable and it doesn't feel heavy. The accordion and tubes work perfectly, they are not too stiff. The throttle on the tube works perfect, I don't see it ever breaking like others mention. I have owned several backpack blowers, none are close to this thing. You won't regret buying it.

An absolute power house of a blower. It does everything I want it to do and it has no issues whatsoever. The only problem is that it weighs like 25 pounds but that’s to be expected, it’s a backpack blower after all. It’s rather difficult to put the hose together but if you manage to lock it into one of those channels on the inside of the tube, the hose will never be blown off by the blower. Overall great purchase for $650 Always starts in a single pull after going through the priming, it doesn’t feel scratchy or itchy so it’s comfortable, and it’s very quiet. I don’t even need to wear headphones when I’m using it.
