Brought this on a trip to collect shells and it worked pretty well. The holes are small enough that it filtered out sand well without small shells falling through. Our only issue was that the black grip wouldn’t stay on when we used it in the water. Also would recommend getting it with a pole like some people do because it would’ve made it a lot easier! It was very sturdy though and didn’t bend or warp at all after hours of use.

I’m very impressed with how heavy duty and solid this tool feels. I had to attach the handle myself but an allen wrench was included. I haven’t used this in the field yet but there is no doubt that it will handle the abuse that I will dish out.
