We got these supplements as a preventative for our six year old golden mix dog. She’s still very youthful, playful and overall healthy but age always catches up to you. She is able to stand from lying down without any trouble but she does lean when sitting down. Eventually I know her hips will begin to give her troubles so I decided to start her early on a glucosamine supplement. We got the bacon flavor and she loves it. Now she is a dog who will eat almost anything, but a complete pig but she’ll eat vegetables which I know most dogs will turn their noses up to but she’ll eat some spinach if offered to her. I know there’s a lot of reviews saying their dogs won’t eat them but I think that just varies based on your dog. We have only given her one a day for now and will slowly work our way up to the suggested two a day for her weight. I’ll try to update my review in a few months time, or whenever we notice an improvement. Could be a year or twos time to really see the difference something like this can make for your dog. I think I’ll add this to my chewy auto ship order to save some but purchasing from Amazon is just as well.

We’ve hard our current foster dog for a while now and she was having a hard time climbing things. Stairs, the bed, the couch… she kind of winced when she jumped. After a trip to the vet, and some pain meds/rest, we were recommended to include a joint supplement in her diet. Bought this on a whim because it had the ingredients we were looking for. The dog seems to really enjoy the taste because she’s looking for more. After a few weeks of these, she doesn’t appear as “stiff” when doing those jumps anymore. She gets up a little bit easier from a lying down position. This isn’t a miracle cure, OK? It’s not gonna replace taking your dog to the vet. Don’t believe any product that makes crazy claims. This product will give your dog some missing nutrition. It’s almost like if you took a vitamin or a supplement to help you work out. They help, but they’re not the cure. That being said, it seems to be working. We plan on including more glucosamine in the dog’s diet because it seems to help her. I’d recommend giving it a try.

My dog is getting into her senior years and accidentally hurt herself while jumping and zooming around the room. Since she is getting up there in age I decided to try adding this product to her daily diet. I have noticed a big difference and feel like its giving her the extra vitamins and minerals she needs for her hips and joints. Would recommend!

These have really helped our aging Shepard but he won't eat them I and he will eat most anything. I have to crumble them up or hold them in his mouth until he finally swallows them. I have been impressed with how they seem to make him feel. He gets his back end off the floor without as much strain and can climb the stairs etc. They do take a few days to work after you gradually get to the correct dosage. I have been happy with the results even if he doesn't take them easily.

My dog loves these. It is always a good feeling to give my pup a treat, knowing that it is also beneficial to them. I don't think its placebo or bias when I say that my dog has been moving better after months of having these.

Pros: Many good nutrients included. My dog seemed to like it. Con: Very, very expensive for the small container it came in. Update 8/2: My dog is showing an allergic reaction after 1-2 weeks on it, so I discontinued use.

I recently noticed my 10 year old American Bulldog was no longer hopping up in the couch and due to her age thought it may be joint related due to her age. Sure enough, in about two weeks she was easily jumping up on the couch. She also thinks of these supplements as treats. Which is great!
