I originally picked it up because I wanted something effective but not overwhelming in scent, and it ended up exceeding my expectations in every way. First off, performance - this stuff really delivers. I used it with my Shark CarpetXpert machine, and the combination worked incredibly well. One thing I really appreciate is how concentrated it is. You don’t need to use a ton of product to get great results, which makes it last a long time. That’s a big deal if you clean your carpets regularly or have pets like I do. It feels like you’re getting professional-level cleaning without burning through a bottle in a few uses. Now let’s talk about the scent, because this is where it really stands out for me. It has a fresh citrus smell that’s clean and light. It does tend to have a bit of a chemical smell on top of the citrus at first but that doesn't last. A lot of carpet shampoos I’ve tried either smell too strong during use or leave behind this heavy, perfumey scent that lingers for days. This one is different. It smells great while you’re cleaning, but once the carpet dries, the scent fades nicely and doesn’t hang around in an overwhelming way. Your space just smells fresh and clean, not like you dumped a bottle of fragrance everywhere. Another thing I noticed is how clean the carpets feel after drying. There’s no sticky or crunchy residue and the fibers feel soft and refreshed, they don’t seem to attract dirt again right away—which tells me it’s not leaving behind anything that would cause re-soiling. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed. Between the strong cleaning performance, the compatibility with my Shark CarpetXpert, the long-lasting concentrate, and that perfectly balanced citrus scent, this has become my go-to carpet cleaner. If you want something effective, easy to use, and not overpowering, this is absolutely worth it. Five stars without hesitation.

I ordered this, and a bottle of the high traffic area cleaner; which you shouldn't use in a carpet cleaner, cause it foams a lot, but I wasn't sure how the all purpose would work, so didn't want to take any chances..The carpet cleaner I normally use, must be out of stock or something, because when I got on my account to see what time it was going to be delivered, saw the delivery date was changed to another few weeks away, when I needed it that day.. So I needed to order something else too.. It cleans ok as far as carpet cleaners go, I'm not sure if it's suppose to be cloudy or not, because it seemed to have been opened already when recieved..But I really doubt I will ever buy this brand again for regular use.. The Smell is over powering with a Soapy, Commercial Smell to it..Hopefully will fade when it dries, but because of that, chances are I won't use it in the house again; so stuck with 2 gallons of Carpet Cleaners I likely won't use again; unless in another emergency like I bought it for in the first place..The price was right for having to order another product when I only bought it because Amazon decided to change my delivery dates last minute..
