This works so well that I’ve been using this product for years! I’m convinced that there’s nothing better on the market! A little back story: When I was in my early twenties, I was moving into a new condo. In those days, we coerced our strong male friends to help us with beer, cokes, & pizzas! The truck that was transporting my ivory/navy blue pin dot colored velvet couch & love seat inadvertently had fresh road tar spilled in the bed & the guys didn’t notice. When we got to the condo, it was all over the side & arm of the couch! I bought the Resolve, thinking it wouldn’t work, & was sure I was buying a new couch. I sprayed it on the now hardened tar, let it sit, then scrubbed it and wiped it off! My couch looked like the day I bought it & there wasn’t a single trace of that road tar. Years later, one of my relatives picked up an old burnt orange velvet arm chair. It was completely covered with black, ground in dirt & they were going to reupholster it. I bought the Resolve with no one believing that it would work. I followed the same procedure as I did with the couch & it turned out like a perfectly new chair that just got delivered from the furniture store! This is amazing stuff! It’s perfect for upholstery, rugs, cars, etc. & it will never fail you! It has a very nice scent that’s not overpowering. Give it a try! I trust resolve. I got an area rug and knew I would be needing a stain remover because I have cats and they make sure to make their messes on carpet.
