I am so highly impressed with how effectively this cleaner lifted deep-set stains that have been in my carpet for months. Pros: Much cheaper than the branded Hoover solution OxiClean is a trusted, effective brand Deep cleans extremely well (noticeably dirty water pulled out) Works great as a pre-treatment Easy to use—no extra steps or mixing required One bottle goes a long way Noticeable improvement on heavily used fabric (ottomans) Cons: Not the manufacturer-recommended solution for all wet vacuums Requires letting it soak (about 20 minutes) for best results May not be ideal for very delicate fabrics without spot testing Conclusion: I used this Oxi-Clean solution in my Hoover wet deep-clean vacuum instead of the recommended cleaner, and I was honestly impressed. I pre-treated two large ottomans, let it sit for about 20 minutes, then deep cleaned. The amount of dirt pulled out was obvious, and the fabric looked significantly cleaner afterward. It’s easy to use, effective, and much more affordable than brand-name alternatives. Man this is the best smelling oxy cleaner that I have ever used. It leaves a very fresh smelling scent that lingers. Lathers perfectly. Cleans up beautifully. Doesn't leave any nasty or sticky residue behind after you rinse it up. No leaking from the jug. It's very effective. Really good brand and you get a lot for the price. I use this in my portable cleaner and it works great at removing dirt, stains, and even soot from a pellet stove that builds up on furniture over the winter. I've also used it a couple times just a dab on a white rug when my cat yacks and within seconds of gently scrubbing the spot it's like it never happened, then just dab it up with a towel to dry the spot.
