Have to say I am impressed that such a large net is able to fold down to such a small size for storage. When broken down this is a very compact set up. When fully assembled, it is quite large. I had hoped that by not fully extending the handle, I could possibly make use of it on my kayak; but I think it will be too large for that. Beyond that, everything is very impressive. The build is very solid, so there is some weight to it; but it is not unmanageable. The hoop itself is very wide, making it easier to actually get the fish in the net. Once in there, the deep pocket of the netting allows it to remain secure. I opted for the silicone netting, so the fish is protected, and hooks from lures are much easier to manage since they are not getting snagged in nylon webbing. The handle telescopes and locks. It gives plenty of reach, making this an excellent choice for a boat net. You should have no issues reaching the water with this one. When you are down, it all folds down into a very compact size for easy storage. Another impressive item from KastKing.

I spend the majority of my fishing time targeting salt water fish. Rock fish, long cod, cabezon, whatever else I can find. Oh and chinook and coho salmon. I love fishing as does my wife. We always see other boats with their way too big nets that just look …dumb to me. I mean to each their own but come on already. This net is 100% the right size for my wife and I. I would (hopefully will) have no hesitation putting this up against a big ol fatty king. The silicone net is deep enough to land nice fish. The biggest king I’ve caught was a 28 lb. It was a dandy of a fish and I have no doubt that this net could have handled it. The telescoping handle feels strong enough as does the net hoop. I am very much looking forward to testing this net out this year. If we catch anything impressive and brag worthy I’ll come back and add some pics. Great net great price!

Coming from someone who owns way too many fishing nets, this one is my favorite. What sets this one apart from other nets is first of all the net itself. The silicone material is WAY better than the threaded or even the rubber nets. They clean easier when you get a slimy fish and the lures don’t get stuck in it like they do in the other materials. Another thing I really like about this net is how travel friendly it is for being such a big net. The design for folding down is genius to be also able to maintain strength you’d except in a net frame. The pole is adjustable and can go from short to very long. As an added bonus they have a built in boat hook that pops in and out. Down the handle there is a ruler to measure your fish. The net handle is very sturdy and strong. Don’t waste your money on other nets like I did. Buy this one instead. Definitely would recommend!

I could not believe how big this thing was when I opened it up. I intended to use this kayaking and fully extended, this is wayyy to big for kayak fishing. Perfect for a boat though, i cant deduct any stars cuz thats on me for not double checking the dimensions. The net is wide and sturdy. The build feels pretty sturdy. I appreciate the carrying case as nets tend to get snagged and caught on things, so that is a nice touch. The only bad thing is now I have to buy a boat.

Big net that folds and carried with included shoulder bag. Nice quality metal and silicon net, but plastic can be better. At first, I had hard time folding the net, but got better on 2nd time and on. I also had hard time opening up the hook. Pressing side buttons while trying to open the hook was really hard. Maybe I need to grease it. Like noted, plastic part quality can be little bit better. The net folds into small package, so it's easy to carry, but when opened up, it is big. Carry one with your fishing Kayak or a boat.

Wait till you see the size of this landing net! It is HUGE. Fish we would have to gaff before will now fit in our net. It very easily folds up and retracts the handle and has a very convenient bag. The actually netting is super strong and I look forward to using this for a long time.

This net is big! I show a photo of it easily engulfing a milk crate. It folds nicely to fit into one of my boat compartments and unfolds into a net I can scoop up a fish the size of a milk crate. Very cool engineering. The silicone net will help keep more fish alive.

This net is very sturdy and easy to use and assemble. The handle is extendable and it’s just as sturdy extended as not extended. It’s also foldable so it doesn’t take up a lot of room to store. Great value.
