i’m going to have order another kit because i’ve used almost all of my skin!!! i had to look up how to use the stencil but once i figured it out i was super excited for all the ideas i had for tattoos. and for the price?! a steal!!!! the stencil goes a long day, can be messy when hand drawing but i’ve only used two sheets and i really used almost all of it, i would just do stenciles side by side and then cut out for maximum usage. the skin is really great quality too.

I think other people here don't know how to clean fake skin Bec I can get mine pretty clean. You have to use petroleum jelly while tattooing, blot don't wipe. Then after wipe down with baby oil, some type of oil and then dry it out with alcohol. They are thin but not as thin as everyone leads you to believe. Your needle shouldn't even go through it all the way. I think 1 mm to 1 1/2 mm into the skin. I am able to use both sides. But you can see the other side a bit after you use one side. The transfer paper is really good. I use a thermal printer and have not tried to trace manually.

Compared to other artificial skins I have seen, this one is seriously lacking. It’s basically just a sheet of rubber that is skin colored from what I can tell - but somehow this is worse at being skin colored rubber than other artificial skins. It’s harder to get a good sense of how deep the needle is going with this stuff than others I have used. The ink does not really wipe off of this stuff even when I’ve tried using straight rubbing alcohol, so every design ends up smeared, and it’s hard to even tell what parts “took ink” and what parts are just stained because it happened to touch there. I’m not the most experienced out there, which is obviously why I bought this stuff, but it just really seems lacking and I find myself disappointed. Good tools absolutely will help with learning the skill better. Lesson learned!
