These are durable, accurate xcales that I found just a little difficult to read. A lttle differentiation between lines associated with different scales (even though it would reduce accuracy fby 0.01”) I wouldlike to buy another set of these rulers.

This stainless steel rule set is well made. I particularly appreciate that the measurements are etched into the metal instead of just printed on like is done on a lot of the cheaper metal rules. The metal could be a little thicker so as to be more durable in a shop setting but they should last along time with proper care. I only have one complaint: On most double scale rules you will find the Metric on top on one side and the Imperial scale at the top on the reverse side so that you can easily use it according to your needs. This set of rules has the scales exactly the same on both sides. So no matter which side is up the Metric scale is always at the top, meaning that if you prefer to use the Imperial scale at the top of the rule you will have to read the measurements in reverse. This should have been better thought out, however it is not a deal breaker. All in all, this is a good quality set of etched rules and the price can't be beat. ... show more

These are decent metal rulers. The larger one is about about 1/16" or 1.5ish mm thick. The smaller one is thinner. Lots of varied and clear calibration markings which will come in very handy, and a hole in one end to hang them. The biggest plus for me is the measurements start exactly at one of the ends. Don't know how many times I've had to fiddle with the ruler to line up the first measurement properly because they start 1/4" ore more from the end. Took off a star because the larger one came bowed about 1/8" in the center. I can probably press it straight, but it would have been nice to receive it perfectly flat, like the small one was. Slightly thicker would have also been nice, to reduce any bowing, or accidental bending, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, I think these will be a nice addition to my measuring tools. ... show more

These rulers are both accurate and great to have handy in my workshop. They are easy to read and they do not have any sharp edges or corners. My only concern is that they are both relatively thin and flexible so I need to handle and store them carefully to avoid bending or other deformations.     • Scales could use different set up.
I have other scales like these, but at $6 I could not pass this up. I love that they are sturdy and easy to ready. The squared edges allow for some precision marking. However, as one reviewer noted, I think that the scales should have been reversed on one side bringing up whichever scale you wanted on the top. The way it is right now, the metric will always be on top and the SAE will be on the bottom. Otherwise, these are a nice set of rulers. ... show more
