YN primer is so good to where I literally cracked a nail did not see any product lifting. I can see why it is very popular and well loved by licensed nail techs. It’s essentially double sided sticky tape for your nails. I used to experience terrible retention, sometimes see lots of lifting within days of doing a set of nails or the nail completely popping off despite proper nail prep and product application. Now my sets last several weeks with minimal to no lifting because of this primer (along with proper prep and product application). I haven’t tested YN dehydrator with this product, however, my nails still last several weeks with little to no lifting when using 91% isopropyl alcohol and acetone as dehydrator before applying YN primer. Use in a well ventilated area because it has a somewhat strong scent like acetone. While the bottle is tiny and seems a bit pricey, the quality is unmatched and the retention alone makes it worth every penny. If you only do your own nails, 7.5mL is more than enough product to last you a while anyways. Would 100% repurchase when I run out.

I’ve been very impressed with the Young Nails Protein Bond. It has made a noticeable difference in how well my gel manicures stay on. After prepping my nails and applying a thin coat, my builder gel and gel polish adhere much better, and I’ve experienced far less lifting around the edges. I also like that it’s a non-acid primer, so it’s gentle on my natural nails while still providing excellent adhesion. The application is quick and easy, and since you only need a very small amount, the bottle will last a long time. I’ve used it with builder gel and gel polish, and it creates a reliable foundation that helps my manicures last longer. It’s definitely become an essential part of my nail prep routine. Overall, this is a high-quality product that’s well worth the price. If you’re looking for better adhesion and longer-lasting gel nails, I highly recommend giving this primer a try. I would absolutely purchase it again.

I saw this in you tube you have to apply it in the nails to keep it really bonded on the gel uv artificial nail before you apply the gel nail paint . It works so I'll keep using it.

When I tell you, this stuff is AMAZING!! I've been a nail novice for ages and I've never been able to get my gel to stick. My gel Mani lasted 3 weeks!!!! I was annoyed at the price, now I'm annoyed for not getting the bigger one, HAHA!

a million times yes. my retention has never been better and i owe it all to this product. st first i was mad because of the size of the bottle compared to the price but once i tried it.. i was so in shock and now i can’t live without it!!! well worth your money! zero leakage in transit and the application is super easy!! durability is over a month and zero lifting!!

This works amazing. I usually use Gelish pH Bond, and this definitely works better, no lifting after 2 weeks. I used Young Nails Protein Bond, then Gelish foundation, then, gel color, Gelish Top it Off.
