Why didn't I buy these sooner! I have some many other uses besides protecting my surface while doing my nails. I've spilled some acetone, and the plastic backing kept it from reaching the tray underneath. I use them for my grandkids placemats, my painting projects, or anything where I need to protect a surface. They don't rip easily. When I'm finished with it, I just roll up and toss in the trash. Definitely recommend for anything where you need to protect a surface. The cost is reasonable, especially if you take into account the damage to your surface without one. The pink is, well, very cute!
