Arrived intact and in new condition. The product matched the description/length. It takes 3 double a batteries and lasts a long time. The remote has a button for each function, making it easy to go straight to the function you want the lights to use. There is a button on the battery box allowing you to manually set the light function, though you need to press it multiple times to get to the function you want the lights to use. The lights are on a metal wire, so you can shape them slightly, though the wire is thin and won't hold the shape for long as gravity will take effect. I do wish they were a bit brighter. I specifically bought this item because I was going for the firefly aesthetic and looking for warm white LEDs that twinkle and fit in a mason jar, and initially was hoping for solar powered ones. Dug pretty far on Amazon, and couldn't find any solar, so I bought these instead. They definitely are warm white and have a nice assortment of twinkle and steady glow patterns. The remote was a bonus, because I use these outside but keep the remote inside to manually turn them on and off (since they aren't solar and automatic). My observations from putting them in a mason jar: you need a wide mouth (most solar ones call for a narrow mouth), and the battery pack doesn't sit flat on the bottom, but it doesn't take away from their appearance. Otherwise look great and do the trick considering they are not solar. Another perk of battery/remote vs solar is I can control when they're on, and they will still work great in areas that don't get sun. Can't comment on battery life or light lifespan, but given the other ratings, I'm expecting good things. Would buy again. ... show more

Wanted to add a little "flare" to my palm in my living room. There are several blinky light up patterns to choose from or you can leave them on/constant. You can also adjust brightness. Takes 4 aa batteries, but batteries don't seem to last long. If I turn it on for 2 or so hours in the evening, they *might* last 3 weeks. None the less, love it. I normally hide the battery box on the back side. Easy to change the batteries out. Remote is a nice touch too. (Pictured is just one of the two strands) ... show more

During the first months of COVID, I realized how happy ambient indoor lights make me! There are many choices for affordable, usb plug-in multicolored fairy lights on Amazon. BUT MOST always have “white” (aka glaring blue halogen-like white) as a color in the multicolored combinations. I loathe the blue-white, as it is too harsh. THESE [33Ft LED Fairy Lights USB Powered LED String Lights with Remote, 16 Color Changing] lights are perfect! I was sad that they only had 2 multicolored mixed light combinations to choose between, one of which is a red, white, and blue combo that is pretty awful. But combination #2 is - turquoise, blue, green, pink, yellow, and red - what I’ve been searching for. They are bright, the string is long, the remote is clear and straightforward, and the single-color options are prolific and varied. Highly recommend these! They are a little more expensive than other options but they are absolutely worth it! ... show more

These lights are exactly what I was looking for to put in my camper van. I ordered the ones that are battery operated. The remote function works well so that you can pick the setting that you want. The dimmer option was great. The problem is that the lights work when they want to. They are very delicate. I tested them before I hung them and they turned on fine but when I strung them all up and turn them back on they did not work. After I started to take them down they turned back on. Since I only had half of them down and they were working again I put them back up. If they are bumped into sometimes they turn off again which is annoying but if I wiggle them around they turn back on again. I really wish that they would work consistently because I really like them otherwise ... show more

First of all, they are bright, but not the cold LED bright, they are a warm bright. They also arrive wound up so they can be easily unwound to use them. I accidentally dropped them and thought “Oh no…”, because I’ve bought lights like these before and they’ve been so poorly made that untangling them destroys them. Not these, they are very well made and untangled quickly. The different modes and timer are a huge plus. You have to point the remote right at the box to get it to recognize it, so don’t be discouraged if randomly pointing it into the kitchen doesn’t work. I give these lights a 5 out of 5 ... show more
