Start off slow then build up. In 2 weeks easily using everyday you will see a difference in your arms, shoulders, legs and core. Its worth the money ONLY IF you use it at least everyother day. Divide the time if it is more convenient.

It is a good, workable rowing machine but the screw holes for the plastic cover over the cable are totally out of alignment making it impossible to securely attach this cover. Fortunately the machine works fine with the cover simply setting in place. Packaging of tools and screws is terribly difficult to unpack. I needed a non-impact aerobic form of exercise and this fits the bill. I'm 5'4, 118 lbs and 72 years old. The rower can be tipped up on end and rolled on hard surfaces into a corner. I have it on carpet and use furniture movers when it's on end to maneuver it. It is awkward for one person to assemble, but I did do it by myself. A second person would have been a help.
