This looked intimidating when you take all the pieces out, but assembling it was not bad. For one thing, many bolts were already fitted in the larger pieces they went with, which is a plus. The bolts and nuts and washers that were not so attached were in separate, numbered pouches that went with the steps in the instructions. This is becoming a standard in many Chinese made products needing assembly and it makes life so much easier! Instructions were clear and assembly was hassle-free. This is advertised as an “elliptical climber,” and it is definitely closer to a stair master than a running-style elliptical. It makes for a challenging, low impact cardio session. The resistance is smooth and easy to dial in. Fit and finish is pretty good. The arms (the parts you move with your hands, that is) we’re a little loose and rattled till I realized you needed to tighten them every few sessions. That’s something I’ve found to be the case on my “higher end” American made spin bike as well, so no points lost there. I may come back and apply some locktite in the future if it bothers me. The challenge level on this equipment is good for both steady-state workouts (like a thirty-minute slog at a sustainable pace while you watch the news) and more intense interval work where you “sprint” hard for two minutes here and there. I weigh about 230 pounds on a good day and I find it strong and stable enough to take maximal efforts. I use this in rotation with my old spin bike and a new rower to get both easy cardio and challenging efforts in. It seems easy on the joints. The motion is awkward at first and it takes a minute to get going in earnest. It is also nice and quiet compared to treadmills, rowers, etc. I like it and would buy again.

I really love how this elliptical turned out. It was easy to put together, and took my hubby a little less than an hour (honestly most of that time was unboxing it lol). its easy to figure out how to use and has a great variety of resistances.

I got this elliptical to be a lower impact option for when I don't feel like running. It's definitely a good option when you want to get your heart rate up but are bored with the treadmill. Assembly was pretty straightforward. It took about 40 minutes. All hardware and tools were included, but I'd recommend using your own socket set or end wrench instead of the supplied tools. The elliptical is quiet and smooth. It started making a little more noise after the first 20 minutes, but overall it's a quiet machine. I feel like this elliptical has less travel than on the commercial ones you use in the gym. But for a home gym setup, it's a pretty good option.

This is a really good heavy duty machine. Well constructed, and relatively quiet. Assembly was not as bad as we thought it would be. Took less than an hour. My only complaint is I can't use it.....this machine killed my knees. If you have knee problems I would suggest not using this machine.

This comes with everything you need to assemble and goes up quickly. It took my hubby about 1/2 hr to assemble completely. It is small and easy to fit into a diminutive space. It runs quietly and smoothly. I wanted this for winter exercise, as we live rurally and in the north. We’re in our late 40s and it takes some get used to, to use. It can be a bit rough on the joints, particularly the knees. I find using fabric compression braces helps me. Our teens use it easily and without issues. It is nice to be able to work not just the lower half but the arms as well. Good all around machine and a great addition to any home gym.

When opening the box, it looked daunting to the Yosuda, but, I sat down, and read the manual (what a concept!) and it helped a lot. I would recommend making the pictures larger. It is nearly impossible to see the order of some of the screws and bolts. The packaging was remarkable! Each part was securely wrapped. EVEN BETTER: What made it even better was locating their video on YouTube and WOW - that made ALL the difference. I could pause the video, take that step, watch the next step, and repeat. WATCH THE VIDEO!!! You will be glad you did. The parts are VERY solid and heavy. I didn't have a problem lifting them, and I put it together all by myself, so it took a bit longer than with two people - but I finished it in about 1.5 hours. As I was putting it together, I felt how solid it was. The only part that was "minimal", is probably the electronic part. Having said that, it does what it is supposed to do. Nothing fancy. I don't need fancy. I like that I can dial the tension up and down which can provide a bit of a challenge. I am glad I have it and feel like it will help motivate me after working all day and it being too late to take a walk outside. Terrific elliptical.

I like this elliptical! First of all, it was shipped with care. It was a big pain to unpack, but only because it was so tightly packed with plastic wrap, ties, and cardboard that nothing could possibly happen during shipping. It was pretty quick and easy to assemble. The word instructions were very clear, but some of the pictures could have been better (or clarify things that should face certain directions or whatnot). The elliptical itself functions nicely. The display is pretty cheap looking, but keeps track of all the things you'd expect out of an elliptical. There's a nice area at the top for a phone or tablet, and there's a holder on the neck for a water bottle. The elliptical is really stable; I've noticed no wobble to it. It also moves pretty smoothly, though I am curious how long (a) the plastic foot pedal and (b) the wheel that rolls up and down along the side will last with a lot of use. Those two things definitely look like they may be points of failure, but time will tell. The machine has adjustable magnetic resistance to make your workout as light or heavy as needed. All said, I am thrilled to own this machine, as it's high quality. (Full disclosure, photos have been edited with a magic eraser to remove various boxes and junk around my elliptical)
