I think this is what many vehicles came with from the factory, except those with the high power headlamps that you have to close your eyes for as the oncoming vehicle passes you. ONE BIG TIP! Buy the Dorman pigtail harness for these bulbs. Amazon has these and they are big and robust, with a rubber gasket seal. Put a little o-ring lube on seal as otherwise it will be hard to connect bulb. Original connectors overheat and cause excess resistance and bulbs don't work properly, if at all. And of course, wear latex gloves or do not touch the glass portion of bulb. I used this in my 2010 Toyota Prius. Thankfully the main headlights in such cars are easy to replace. This was easy to install, and it is working fine. Only issue is that I discovered on the package (not when I ordered it) that the expected longevity of the bulb is not that long. Only afterwards did I discover that there are other light bulbs of much longer longevity whose cost (per year of life, let's say) will be much better. ... show more

I'll always buy Sylvania brand if it's available. They're usually US made or Germany, and they do last 2x as long as all the rest. GE and all the rest are made in China.

I bought this replacement headlight bulb for my Toyota. The headlight bulbs are fairly easy to change out if you use a good flashlight to see the bracket and wiring harness that the headlight bulb attaches to. If you are uncertain how to change it out, there are usually some decent YouTube videos that show how to do something like change out filters or bulbs on most common vehicles. Don't pay those ripoff places $20-$40 for something that a few minutes of research and 5-10 minutes of effort can resolve!
