I bought one of these clocks about 6 years ago and it was great until it began to slowly gain time. However, note it was accurate for almost 6 years. The clock is battery driven, so it won't lose time during a power outage. Its large size numbers makes it easy to read, even across the room. It has a second hand for short timing uses. I almost returned this because no battery worked, so I watched a Youtube video and it turns out I put the battery in wrong and this caused a little metal piece to move. So I fixed that metal piece and it's worked without issue ever since. It's also silent which is why I bought it.

UPDATE: I was eventually able to pop the clear cover off and the paper laid flat on its own. The tab is a little damaged but it works fine now. I bumped the stars up to four and not five because it works like it should, but it shouldn’t have been shipped with a bent clock face. This clock came with its paper insert that has the numbers printed on it bent inside the clock. I didn’t think it’d be a problem as it passed over initially ok so I hung it. I bought it for a church classroom and for that reason I wasn’t looking at it all the time but once a week. I noticed it kept slowing down and then after a month I changed the batteries, then did it again. I replaced the batteries three times before giving up and buying a different clock. I realized after looking closer it wasn’t stopping due to the battery, but due to the paper insert. I took a good look at it today to see if I could salvage it and noticed the paper insert was the only problem as the minute hand can’t get over the bump in the paper and I can’t get the face off to fix it. I lost money on it as it says I can’t return it anymore. It’s a good clock if the paper isn’t bent. Very quiet. ... show more
