The baby monitor worked right out of the box...no need to synch the handheld unit with the camera. Range is outstanding - I took the monitor outside and across the street to the mailbox with no issues. I don't know if it will go 1500 feet, but it will go anywhere in my yard or house with no issues or slow response. Picture and sound are clear. It has so many functions that I don't know if I will use, but I tried them all out other than video as it didn't come with a card and I didn't have an extra by this writing. Once I went through the manual and played with it for a couple of minutes, all of the functions seemed to be very straight forward and easy to use. The built in lullaby is pretty basic, but they aren't playing music for adults and you can add your own. When testing the voice activation, it worked better than expected. It's nice that the monitor shuts off to extend the battery life. It comes with two power blocks and two cords, so you can charge the monitor at night by your bed side and go hands-free all day while leaving the camera plugged in/mounted and not have to worry about needing to charge. The cute little blue cat ears in the picture can be put on or removed in seconds if you prefer to just have the camera without a hat. overall, it looks like this will work well for our grand babies. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The monitor is excellent. Works exactly as described and the quality as described. The directions are very simple to follow. It comes with 2 charging blocks and cords. Has a very clear color monitor and easy to use. The sound is very clear and extremely sensitive to even the slightest sounds. I love how I can actually adjust the view from the monitor from any room in the house. I also love the options of being able to talk to the baby through the remote monitor. Does not require WiFi. Awesome options to be able to download music. Making this a perfect monitor for being able to watch and monitor safety, and give comfort to baby.
