  • Product is great, app is just okay
Style: Dream Sock Dusty Rose
The Dream Sock does exactly what it's intended to do and we have loved having the sleep information at our fingertips. The app that you download on your phone is less impressive because I have to open and close the app to get it to sync and load all the information. But maybe I'm just impatient? Either way they could improve their app, but the sock is awesome - I also love that it comes with different size "socks", one for each foot so you can switch feet when desired. I highly recommend Owlet Dream Sock! ... show more

  • Eases the mind
Style: Dream Sock Deep Sea Green
If you are anxiety ridden like most parents, just buy it. It’s pricey, yes. But the way this little sock puts my mind at ease has been worth every single penny. The app gives you the ability to track your little one’s sleep through the night, but more importantly, will alert you if something triggers it (if baby kicks the sock off, if it senses something off about baby’s readings). This has been a game changer for me as a parent. I hope one day devices like these are more affordable for everyone. ... show more

  • Very Calming Product
Style: Dream Sock Deep Sea Green
I love using this owlet sock. I did not have it for my first born and I found myself waking up way more often to check his breathing and heart beat. Now I have this with my second and I feel more confident sleeping knowing that he is okay. It did go off once to alert me that his oxygen was low for a brief moment which was helpful! It also lets you know if it cannot get good readings and it is accurate because I check it and it typically is not on well. Neither of my babies were NICU babies, but I think that would be easing for as well. ... show more

  • It works, but only for a year
Style: Dream Sock Deep Sea Green
tl;dr The device provides peace of mind when it works, but seems to be built to only last a year as we've had two of them that stopped working between 11-12 months which is also the limit on their warranty. We just can't afford to buy a $300 device for every kid so we won't be buying another one. PROS: - Helpful data that gives peace of mind that your baby is okay - Vitals can give you early signs that your baby is getting sick or recovering from sickness CONS: - Only last 11-12 months (we've had this happen with two socks) - Strict warranty, if you contact them about an issue after 12 months of purchasing they will not help you - App has some bugs and navigating the app can be confusing We purchased the original Smart Sock from Owlet for our first child. The sock and the app worked great, providing helpful vitals data that gave us peace of mind. When the company got into hot water with the FDA over their original Smart Sock, our sock which had worked perfectly for almost a year suddenly stopped working. It would no longer connect to the Owlet Care app. When we contacted support they said that our sock was outside the 12 month warranty (Though it stopped working before that. Buyer beware, if you have any issues at all with this sock before 12 months, contact the company immediately or they will not work with you). We hoped that this was a fluke with their original device and the trouble they got into with the FDA over portraying it as a medical device. So with our second child we decided to try it again and bought their new Dream Sock. The device itself worked just as well as the first one. They also had a new app that was more confusing and less helpful, but overall the system still provided peace of mind. When our second child was around 11 months the system started having trouble. It would constantly give us Yellow warnings but when we would check on our baby everything was fine. We tried adjusting the sock placement, resetting it with the base station, cleaning it, everything. Eventually the sock stopped sending information to the base station at all. The app would show that it was connected to the sock, but no vital information would come through. When we finally decided it was time to contact Owlet about this, we were just over the 12 month warranty window and they refused to fix or replace the device. Overall, while we love the functionality and peace of mind it gives us, it's too expensive of a device to only last a year. If you're planning to have multiple kids, expect that you'll have to buy a new one for each child. I see other reviews mention a similar experience so I know we're not alone. ... show more

  • TEN OUT OF TEN!
Style: Dream Sock Dusty Rose
This device single-handedly gave me, an extremely anxious first time mom, the ability to sleep. After 2 weeks of staying up all night to watch her breathe, I caved and purchased it. Thank god I was able to use my FSA funds- but I would have used regular funds either way! The first night she wore it I was able to sleep and it was like a weight off my chest. I will say the only down side is if I have the base in another room as the sock sometimes the Bluetooth signal gets wonky- and the base has to be plugged in so unplugging it to move around the house can be annoying but sometimes I just keep the base in her nursery, and use the sound from the baby monitor to be alerted if there’s an issue. I also set my cellphone notifications to push for the Owl app and I feel fine keeping the base around her. And it’s super loud it would wake me up from across my apartment! Sometimes I just open the app to look at her sleep pattern. And it’s good to see her historical sleep trends too. I 50000000% recommend this to anyone. If I was made of money I’d get these as shower gifts for all my pregnant friends. ... show more

  • Great for those with anxiety-with it’s problems
Style: Dream Sock Bedtime Blue
I love this. As soon who has had a miscarriage, I’ve been overly cautious about my rainbow baby. This app has allowed me to sleep better knowing that she’s constantly being monitored. The only thing I can complain about is the app crashed randomly in the middle of the night and it took until the next day and completely resetting the base to get it to work. So that whole night I barely slept. Other than that night, it’s been great. ... show more

  • Peace of mind
Style: Dream Sock Bedtime Blue
My son who is only 11 weeks uses this every night. App is easy to use and it shows his O2 level and pulse rate. Also love that it tracks his light sleep/deep creep cycles. We only bought it for peace of mind and it’s worth it.

  • Must have for baby!
Style: Dream Sock Bedtime Blue
I had my first baby 3 months ago and he has been wearing the Owlet sock since he came home from the hospital. It gives us such a big peace of mind. I feel like I can sleep knowing my baby is monitored. We have had really no issues with false alarms. I like the app. Cant Recommend enough, especially to those with anxiety. ... show more
