Easy to install, easy to clean, reliable, perfect for first time parents, gives ease of mind, love the adaptability and so much more. We bought this for our son who ended up being a premie. Coming home as first time parents is super scary and the dream sock and camera really helped give us reassurance that everything was going to be okay and give us a good sense of security with taking care of our little one. The sock is super easy to place on baby, we always placed an actual sock over it to help keep in place since our babies foot was so small being a premie. We LOVE how owlet provides multiple sizes of bands for the owlet sock so that it can grow with them. The camera provides so many great things like image, temperature & humidity of the room and if baby is active, moving or sleeping. The sock provides info such as heart rate & O2 levels and more. If you are a first time parent, looking to buy this for your newborn to ease your mind - don't! I bought this thing in november, to prepare for my baby arriving in february and it all seemed fine then.. I bought it mainly because of the pulse and oxygen monitor and they all showed fine when testing on my finger in november. Come february, the baby is born, I try to use this thing and the troubles start... First of all, it doesn't show the oxygen and pulse anymore and when I contacted support they said that my baby now needs to be one month old for this function to work, which was not their app logic when I initially bought this thing (and mind you, the reason I bought it). Secondly, if you have a winter baby and are not skilled in changing your baby yet, then this will just create additional frustration! It keeps sliding off and triggering the alarm and when you have your baby in a onesie with footsies and, God forbid, more layers, then this is just a catastrope! The base station and camera keep losing wifi (my other devices are fine in this room, so it's not my wifi). The camera view in the app keeps turning black when it's minimized, so it's useless.. It freezes when maximized, so that is also useless. The speaker on the camera sounds like I'm calling from the trenches of WW2. You first download one app, then it leads you to another app, so for a time I didn't know which app to use... The setup of devices takes forever and I had to try at least a dozen times to add the sock to my devices... My baby turned one month now, so I'll give it another shot with the oxygen and pulse readings, because I spent my money on this thing and I want to make ot work. I'll let you know how that goes... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My baby was born prematurely and had to stay at the hospital because of respiratory issues and was monitored with a pulse ox on. I was less worried going home since having this and it was a big relief. It works great, but the only thing I didn’t know beforehand was that the oxygen level was updated every 10 minutes with an average of what it was. Still, very helpful! Another amazing thing is that this will tell you if your baby needs help right away and will alarm you. The camera is amazing quality and all I can say is you will not regret buying this product and it is worth every penny for the little peace of mind that you get UPDATE!!! The owlet is now FDA approved, which is amazing! That means the monitor is now tracking/showing real time oxygen levels. I can now compare this to the actual hospital one and say that this is very accurate and the only thing that is different is that you don’t have visuals which help you determine if the numbers are accurate because sometimes the monitor just doesn’t get correct readings when the baby is moving or if it’s placed incorrectly. But that happens even at the hospital and this thing has been very accurate! Very excited about this update and it is a big step forward. This could help a lot of caregivers especially when kiddos are sick, just try to be observant and not to worry too much ... show more

While the product is great it is extremely difficult to set up because it doesn’t support 5g wifi. Only 2.4g. Seriously needs to upgrade to support 5g wifi.

I don’t care what the other reviews say when they mention negative things about this sock in these reviews. My fiancé and I use it for our daughter every single night and the sock never comes off nor gives any bad readings. It also holds a charge very well and the app to monitor your child is very easy to use. The other customers who say the sock doesn’t stay on either has an extremely active night sleeper who just kicks the sock off or they are using to small of a sock on their child and not fastening it correctly on the foot/ankle. I recommend this product to every one as it will help you sleep much better at night knowing your baby is being monitored. ... show more
