This is a follow-up review after posting the below a couple weeks ago.. Yohood's customer support reached out to me after my Amazon review and offered to fix the issue by sending me a complimentary hoop. Even after I requested only a replacement backboard and rim, they immediately shipped the entire hoop assembly. Easy to assemble and works great. We will keep the base filled with water/sand and the additional sand bag on top, for safety. We will also keep this one in some shade to minimize sun damage. Old review: The rim bent after falling over with strong winds. We had to add more weight for stability. The backboard broke just after a year of use. Ok so first off. I just got done building this. Directions are somewhat weird as far as steps go but not hard to figure out. They provided extra hardware for every bolt needed as well as a couple cheap wrenches if you don't have a 13 + 14mm on hand which is nice. Everything lined up like it should and it seems to be a very well made and sturdy setup that will last. Now the add part is why I can also say customer service is responsive. The same day I was to receive this I got a random hoop and net (no stand, backboard, etc) and thought I got jipped so started the process of getting a refund.. couple hours later fed ex shows up with the one I actually ordered. In the end I had zero issues but the company did respond to my original refund request quickly, stating if I took pictures of the issue they'd send whatever necessary to fix free of charge. So although I didn't actually need their customer support it's nice to know they are there if you did need them. ... show more

We have enjoyed this but unfortunately the welding completely separated from the rim and the support and now the rim sags. It’s also a sharp edge so kids can’t really use it. Finding a replacement is not as easy as as it sounds as the universal rims don’t align with the bracket on this hoop.

Very good quality for the price, not too tricky to put together but not an easy height adjustment. It’s stable, and at 8 ft a good height for my 9 year old! His only complaint is the ball hits the base a lot & then gets bounced off of it so he spends time chasing the ball.
