This gives our cats a safe space to enjoy the outdoors. We added some chicken wire to connect one end with a cat door. It is sturdy and they love it. It is easier to set up if you have some help to hold the pieces in place, otherwise setup would be tough on your own.

    • It's flimsy. Smaller than expected. Good for baby bunnies or chickens. Maybe ducks.
Wish it was more sturdy. The stakes were horrible to pound in without bending them. They were too long for such a small structure.

    • Decent, but missing parts and bad instructions
The thing goes together fairly easy, even though the instructions are incredibly vague on a bunch of areas. I just had to try things out until it worked. They have worthless customer support if you buy it through Amazon, so don’t bother. I’m missing hardware that I just had to buy locally. When I contacted the manufacturer they sent me on a goose chase with Amazon who sent me back to them. Only reason it gets 3 stars is because it keeps my chickens in as a temporary run until they grow larger and I put them in the actual coop. ... show more

I used this to introduce hens to an already established flock and it did the job. It allowed them to be together but out of danger from each other.

    • Small, tiny doors, difficult assembly
This run is useable but much smaller than expected, very difficult to figure out how to assemble (mine ended up being held together by zip ties - no other way to keep it together), and the doors to access the run are tiny. I have difficulty even taking a small water container in and out for filling. Don’t recommend. There are much better options out there. ... show more

We've compared multiple choices, and this cage is large and relatively cheap. Pretty sturdy, good quality materials, not that light weight cheap type. We use it for our chicks and it works great. It does not have a bottom but we found it rather convenient, that you can lift it directly to replace all the stuff inside. ... show more
