It seems to be well made and sturdy. I’ve only had it for a couple days, but worked perfectly twice now. It started my 2013 Silverado 5.3 with ease. Spun over maybe 2 seconds and started from a totality dead battery. No lights or radio Arrived with 74% battery charged and it started pickup. I charged it to 100% and had to use it again a few hours later. Started no problem with completely dead battery. Used the boost feature. It used 6% Can’t say much on battery life or life of unit as I just got it. If/when I use it going forward, I don’t plan on charging it until I get close to 20-25% Overall satisfied

It works perfectly to start a car with a 1.6 16v Torque engine, it manages to start it even if the battery is completely discharged. It does feel a little hot when using it several times so it is best to let it rest between each try.

Review is for: YESPER Car Jump Starter, 3000A Peak Portable Battery Jump Starter WITH Pre-Heat. I have not used this pre-head version unit to jump start a car yet. This size jump starter is more powerful than I needed for my 6 cylinder, 3L gas Ford Ranger, but it should should also be good for lasting a longer time for camping. I bought this preheat version of this brand for Indiana weather. The higher amperage size of the unit makes it physically bigger than some others that are less powerful. If storage space is an issue, get a smaller unit that is still rated for your engine size. If you have a trunk with plenty of room, then this starter would be good. It didn't come with a case so maybe it should be only 4 stars, but you can just leave it in the sturdy product box if you have room, and it will protect it just fine. It's nice that you can buy it without the case (for a potentially lower cost), but they should offer a form fitting case for it, even for an additional charge. I found the following jump starter case later that appears to fit it (Comparing the internal case and external jump starter dimensions). The product box is only a little larger than this case.
