Our old one gave out after 20 years, we found several cheaper but knew they would not last. This pole is solid, built well and should last many years. It works great and is light enough to not cause extra struggle.

Our existing pool pole cracked, and I found this one to replace it. It fit our head brush with no problem. One thing I Don't like about all these poles is they all have a whole on both sides near where the head brush attaches, so when you lift it out of the water, it sends a stream of water towards you as it drains. I attached a small piece of rubber with zip ties to cover the hole that aims towards my feet when pulled out of the water and that fixed the problem.

Pole is a bit flimsy at 12' in length, but works OK for the pool tasks i need. The order took about 3 weeks to receive (the original order never shipped) and i had to replace order, which came in about 5 days. The clamps on the pole to extend the length have sharp edges, so care has to be taken when working it around the pool water if you're not wearing gloves.
