I first saw one of these lamps at my nail salon. I loved how it let my nail tech get bright light on her work, and she said she recommended it. I use it when I crochet, and it’s especially useful when working with darker yarns. It also has a way to attach a mobile phone to the top, so, if you sell smaller crafts on platforms like Etsy, you get even lighting that’s almost parallel to a light box. I cannot recommend this enough to those who do desktop crafting projects, especially fiber artists! I’ve had this lamp for at least four or five months now, it’s a great lamp. It works just fine. I haven’t had any problems. It’s bright. My only couple of issues are, The stand that it comes with for your phone for recording does not actually hold your phone well enough to record, it’s really loose and falls off. Also, I wish the light was a bit taller, a lot of the times me and my clients have trouble seeing each other over or under the light. There’s not a good in between to see each other so I will be purchasing a different light just because I need a taller one. ... show more

Here’s the thing. This would have been a SOLID 4.5 star lamp if it didnt stop working after 7 months. I dont have *that* many clients as I do nails part time but in just 7 months? Unacceptable. Cons: 1) the little half moon feet come loose a lot and make the whole lamp unstable if not tightened FREQUENTLY. 2) absolutely generates heat. Hot to the touch and will definitely will make you hot. 3)too short from table top to the peak of the arch, approx 15 inches and I would always smack it with my nail art brushes because its too low… i started propping the whole thing up on little drawer organizers just to have another 3 inches of space. 4) the whole left side light completely stopped working after 7 months‼️‼️‼️‼️ literally the only pro is the lighting.
