In the beginning, I was attracted by this bedside lamp for two reasons: the touch control and the USB ports on its base. While I confirm that having two USB ports easily accessible through the lamp is particularly useful, I am deeply disappointed with the touch control. Since the very beginning, I was not enthusiastic about it because even a light touch of any metal part of the lamp activates the lamp (or changes its brightness). Now, after less than a year, the touch control is dead: the only way I have to switch the lamp off is to unplug it. I would not recommend this product, also because the three brightness levels do not differ much (I would rather say it has two; judge by yourself from the pictures) and the lamp overall is very small. ... show more

I just bought two of these lamps for our enclosed porch. They were the best packaged items I have received in quite a few years from any source, not just via Amazon. I spent alot of time researching small/mini lamps online and read many reviews. Some required assembling the lamp shade. Some didn't offer 3 way lighting or offer usb ports. Ultimately, I chose this lamp based on features and reviews. It is rated #1 for a reason. They were quick to assemble. Remove the plastic packaging from base and shade, unscrew a piece from the light socket, place the shade, screw the piece on around the socket, screw in bulb. That's it!! The denim color looks as advertised on Amazon. I can't wait to try these tonight but I'm certain they'll be perfect for my needs. Yes, I am pleased with this purchase. I wish this company could teach others how to pack an item properly. That also impressed me. Great little lamps at a good price. Update: Despite the cold, I tried these lamps the same night. They're just as expected. The three way lighting is perfect for creating different levels of ambience on our enclosed porch without having to turn on the bright overhead light on our ceiling fan. Great product overall. Having two usb within the lamp stand is perfect. I ordered the blue shade, but it was not enough light for my desk. My sister has the white shade and it gives off great light. I use it now in my grandkids room for their electronics and it’s perfect for them for a table lamp.

Easy to assemble. The touch dimmer works very smoothe and color choices are nice. I went with light denim. I wouldn't have minded if the lamp was a bit brighter as its dimmer even on the highest setting than my previous lamp. But it doesn't take up much space and good value. I would recommend.

I purchased this lamp for my college bound daughter. Unfortunately, when she moved in and unpacked and plugged in the lamp it did not work. On touch the light came on then immediately went out. Tried plugging in and out to no avail. Unfortunately, the time lapsed between my purchase and when she moved into the dorm, the window has closed to return, leaving my daughter with a defective lamp.
